Anything and everything goes in here... within reason.

I used to, but I like not knowing what I'm getting. Even without peeking, I know what I'm getting for the most part, though. People really should stop asking me specifically what I want and in what color.
I'm surrounded by peekers, so I'm currently cleaning out my present hiding place. I've been using it for 7 years and no one's ever found it. My sister
will be surprised.

I used to not peek...but now I can't resist

Nah. I like surprises and more fun to wonder your have recieved then to peek and find it is something that you don't like and/or want.

I don't peek. I don't think I ever have.
I did find my birthday present by accident a few weeks before my birthday, though. Mom hid it in a place where only
I look. So I looked, saw the book, and went, "Oh! I didn't know we had this!" And she's all, "Put that back and forget about it. It's your birthday present. ;_;" It was rather funny.

I like trying to figure out what I'm getting by observation and previous knowledge, rather than peeking or shaking.
I think I'm getting an iPod - likely 2GB or an older 1GB, probably in black or a darker colour. It will likely be wrapped in a shirt or something, my parents like to do that when giving small electronics. Should I get one, my sister will also be getting one, almost assuredly in blue.
They've been asking a lot for information as well as saying it's too much, saying so a bit too much. Coupled with the facts they've been thinking about it for my sister for a while, and they don't know of anything else I'd like, an iPod is most likely.
Aside from that, I'll probably be getting clothes from other family, like usual.

Never have (well on purpose.) I know I'll be getting it, so I figure there's no reason to peek. However, once I was looking for something, opened up a closet, and everything was right there, unwrapped. Should have figured they would be, though.
And seeing as I know for a fact that I'm only getting Guitar Hero 2 and clothing for Christmas, no reason for me to peek. xD

No, I never have either. But these days, I don't really want that much anyway, being extremely indecisive, so I'm not overly fussed as to what I'm getting. Besides, I'm pretty sure my parents hide the presents in the loft, or always used to anyway, and I'm afraid to go up there, hehe (I don't like the jump from ladder to loft, beside the staircase).
On a slight tangent, the other day, I was looking for a digital camera in my mum's room, so I could take a final picture of my hair while it is still long, as it is being cut on Friday (by my own choice, I need a change), and my brother thought I was looking for my Christmas presents (or so I agreed when he asked him, hehe, as being slightly secretive and embarrassed). He told my mum, who didn't believe me when I told her the truth (and apparently, my dad has it anyway).
Yay for uninteresting anecdotes.

I've looked everywhere and I still can't find their hiding spot

They probably hide them at my grandparents house or something... sneaky parents

I buy my presents.

Nope. I've never peeked. I've never even considered peeking. All my presents are surprises. Sometimes people ask me "Do you know what you're getting for (insert present day here)?" and I'm like "...no..." and they're like "Well, what'd you ask for?" and I go, "...nothing..." I never know what I'm getting, and I like it that way.

I may have... hunted around the tree a couple of days ago... >_>
You heard nothing.

I already know what I'm getting, so there wouldn't be any point.
Thu Dec 21, 2006 3:59 am
I've already opened mine..(my mom is a little more childish then me when it comes to that stuff xD)

No. It's more fun to have the surprise. I will try to guess based on the size/shape of the present, though, sometimes. Knowing what you're getting beforehand just ruins it though. I'll intentionally not look.
