I'm sure that wherever James Brown is now, he feels good. I know that he would.

Wow, that's horrible.
He'll always be remembered as one of the most notorious musical legends of our time.

Oh man that was just awful. Seriously awful.
It is such a shame that he has died. He was a legend and he will be sorely missed the world over.

Like, it was totally obvious that he was soon to shuffle off the mortal coil...but I never thought he'd actually die..

Like both of us said Igg, we always imagined we'd die before James Brown for some reason.
He will be missed =:0(

We'll miss his sassy style, but he's singing in the Great Double-Bolted Bandstand in the sky now.

He will be missed.
And why is it that all the famous people die around Christmas?

So did I.
The whole family cried when we found out. He will be missed by a lot of people.

I didn't know who he was until now but my grandparents liked him and were quite shocked when the news came in that he'd died. Seemed like a cool guy.

He'd been sick for months, apparently, with a cold/cough that just wouldn't go away. A few days ago he held his annual event where he gave away gifts. This year, it was held outside in the rain. Even on his deathbed, he was determined to perform on New Year's Eve.
I know they called him the hardest working man in show biz, but he was ridiculous (in a good way). He gave so much of himself.

He was VERY hardworking and will be missed. I wasn't a huge fan of him, but I know the music industry has lost its greatest soul singer. R.I.P. James Brown. He did so much in life and now he is in a better place getting his rewards for what he did during his lifetime. Great guy!
