Anyone know a good cure for writers block?

My best solution? Stop working. Do something else.
Watch tv, a dvd, play a game, read a book (... not acted upon much by myself), just something that "relaxes" your brain.
Helps me think of other things... and then *bam* thats it!

Go swimming. When I find I can't write at all, I go for a swim.
It works... trust me.

Sometimes freeform writing helps. Just get a pencil/pen and paper and write random things, whatever comes into your head. Sometimes you can find something you can actually work with or it might just clear all the garbage out.

I don't often have writers block, but when I do I just kinda drop the prospect of writing for a while. I watch tons of videos, maybe read a few books, and Roleplay. Especially Roleplay. If I haven't got an idea for my story, by then I'll have some comic ideas! (I have TONS of comic ideas as we speak... O.o...) Just... entertain yourself, and you might get an idea. Very seldom do I get ideas from dreams, but I think I have sometimes, mostly for movie sort of things. Dove-Mouse-Cobra... Call Me Dernhelm... etc.

Taking a nap ussually helps me. Just lay down somewhere with no distraction and sort out your head. It works for me.

It's really weird, but I always get inspired when I'm in the shower. I think it's because the shower is the only place I can't bring a notebook, and my creative instincts like to give me inspiration where I can't write it down. They're spiteful like that.

Well, my response is one that I doubt many of you can do. I cycle for about 2 or 3 hours and often I just stop and sit against a tree, and doodle. To be honest, a lot of the time in the forest, on my own, I always feel like I can write again.
Something that helps is reading. Don't watch TV. Don't play electronic games. They, this may just be, clutter my mind and make it harder to write. Reading is good because it allows me to read writing tecniques, and gives me inspiration
