Today, in less than an hour, I'll be on my way to Italy, ready for 6 full days of skiing!
Everyone else payed out lots for ski lessons, but I decided that I could just learn there, instead of spending more money. I think one of the funnest parts of the trip will be the bus ride over there.
The only bad side is that the day straight after I get back is a Monday, the day I RETURN from my half term holidays.
So, cya in a week peoples. I'm looking forward to many Miscellaneous topics for me to catch up on.

Ditto what xandra said. I'm JEALOUSSSSS
I would, uh, kinda recommend taking lessons, if you haven't skied before. But I suppose it's too late for that recommendation

i'd suggest getting at least a couple of lessons when you get there!!
there's a guy in my college that has just been skiing and now has a broken leg and a plate in it and all sorts, so be careful!

You can break your leg taking a wrong step on a flat surface. Common sense is more useful when it comes to breaking limbs. Like the whole "Don't ride gallop a horse on a gravel road" or "Don't do black diamond runs if you've never gone skiing before". (i've only suffered from one of the above idiocies).
