Warning: Rant ahead

Hello, all. I'm -rather- annoyed, so DONT'S bother me.

I wasn't here last week. I was grounded.

My sister, who's giving birth to a child concepted before her marriage in less than a week, ended up being really messed up. My parents, having no experience in the parenting job, admittedly, weren't the perfect applicants in the job, and they knew they'd screwed some of it up.

And I'm the result. After my sister graduated, they talked for about a month about how they weren't going to make any mistakes, ever again. The only problem? They don't let me make any mistakes, either. So, for a week, I was grounded, for something relatively minor, and fixable.

Okay, I'm done ranting. Sorry to all the people affected by this- everyone in the 2 games I was in, and anyone else....

Awww, Tested, that smurfs!!!!!! My older brother did the same sort of thing with a girl and those of us in the family younger than him paid the price. So, I know a little about what you are going through. And, gosh, I am a parent of a teen. So, maybe you should have them talk to me. It is a fine line--being a parent--you have to be cautious, but you also have to give the kid privacy, trust, and respect. And I feel sorry for kids who don't have parents who do that. Sorry, I am not trying to come down on any parents. I know how hard it is to be a parent. But, the most important thing in ANY relationship is trust. Glad that you are back, Tested.
