Anything and everything goes in here... within reason.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, I will be going on two trips this summer! This weekend I'm driving down with my family to see some family in Boston for a weekend (I'll be back Monday) and recently I've been accepted in the "Explore" program which is basically spending 5 weeks in a French town. I'll be at the Université de Trois Rivieres (Quebec), and basically, if I don't speak French than I won't be able to eat. So it's speak French or die of hunger!
I'm a little nervous but I'm going with friends and I hope the residences are nice, but I'm not counting on it!
I just thought I'd share that with you because I think it's sorta kinda cool.

I am jealous. I want so badly to go to France. Though I'd probably have a hard time because I know very little French. That is exciting, though! Take lots of pictures.

Ah! My mistake, it's not in France. I didn't mention where it was, it's in Quebec.
It's the France of Canada if that counts!

Actually, if you went to Paris and didn't know French you would be fine, because as it's an "international" city a lot of people in the city speak English. Or if they don't, they recognize you as American and practice their English on you.
Anyways, that sounds fun! I've always wanted to go to Boston, so much history there.

Cool! Hope the adventure goes well. You will have to bring back stories... or else!

The roll out a flag with a beaver on it with Jay's head.
Edit: Then there is always Canadian Bacon where Candy's raiding party is driving through Canada with various derogatory remarks spray painted on his vehicle. Dan Akriod (sp?) as a Canadian cop pulls him over and makes him spray all of the remarks in French as well.

Are you going to Boston as in Massachusetts? That's very cool.

I'd love to drive over and meet you, like when we met up with Rachel in Boston, but it probably wouldn't be a good idea since you'd be visiting family. lol Plus the weather is supposed to be really crappy this weekend.
Have fun on your trips! There is a cute little Hello Kitty store in Boston.

Well it's in America, so I suppose it's Massachusetts! Heh! We can so meet up, but I'd have to figure out what I'm going to do with my life when I get there so once that's done, I'll let you know!

Boston? I live in Boston. Well, very close. I don't know it very well though. Maybe someday I'll go tourist-ing around my own neighbor city.

May you have a most excellent time while you take various relaxing in various locations both nationally and internationally and perhaps shop and/or learn about local culture in the form of restaurants, guided museum tours, and other various forms of activity, while maintaining good health, and lack of injury, death, or serious emotional trauma in comings weeks and months.
