picture this - im watchin TV and this thing about a ghost hunter...thingie comes on, and this guy is being burnt and scratched and hurt and stuff, but his wife and kid arent, so they call this guy in who can ' speak and hear' the ghosts. So he comes in has a look at everything , has a look around, and that night he sets up this thingie and it records a 'ghost' noise and then the guy who is being hurt he gets scrapped on the right arm by the ghost. Then it goes to the guys at the sound thing, and the listen to the sound and then it goes to the commercials :x stupid commercials. but anyway, he comes back and its still at night, and he looks up the staircase and see's the ghost, and apparintly at the beggining everyone knows the ghost's name so he calls out her name (kinda forgot) and the ghost dissapears. Then he goes into the room and everything is ash basicly exept this one doll. Commercial. Then when they come back, they move out and stuff, but while their packing, their rose's get burnt. they leave emediatly and then the ghost talker...guy comes back and has this talk with the ghost and everything, but he doesnt know that the ghost is there, so the ghost lights a candle and then the room gets cold and then warm..he walks around then it gets cold and then warm, he's walkin through her. Then his cheeks start 'burning' and he feels around and finds her. Then the guy (scratched) comes on and hes like " yeah, when we came to the new house, we had the guy check and see if there where any ghosts," so the guy checks and there arent any "and even though there arent any, i cant go to sleep without the tv on or something, because of my experiance with that ghost." and then they reveal that two ghosts might have been occuping that house...weird *shifty eyes* Thsi is all true, it was on Unexplained mysteries and my little brother saw it too..

I watch Unexplained Mysteries with my dad. That is probably the dumbest show I've ever seen. They never actually prove anything. Do you notice the nice "camera effects" they use. The odd angles, lack of showing anything that is supposedly "happening right before your very eyes".. I highly doubt most of what they talk about is real.
Although, that episode did provide some great laughs for my dad and I.

yes...it was soooooo funny, me and my friend could explain everthing, i have tivo and i got a season pass for it. you know when he's at the stairs, you cant really see the ghost, and the 'ghost noise' is a computer loading. thats why they said no 'human' can make that sound, a computer can...but still, i kinda am afraid to get up out of bed now...because of them...it'll pass though..

That show never scares me. The only story they had that seemed slightly real was the Polaroid Ghost one. The "Ghost" wrote messages all over the polaroid pictures. It was kind of cool. I don't know if I believed any of it or not, though.

aww...i hope they show that one again

I think that episode was on a few months ago. I'm not sure when they will show it again.
I love how they "reveal the truth in the Unex Report". Yet, they never mention anything that wasn't said during the actual episode.

the only real unvealing is that the guy cant sleep without a tv on

Was this the episode with the huge scratches.. Hmm.. Not sure how to explain it, but when the guy went to bed he would wake up with huge scratches, and the ghost possessed the wife so she had an evil laugh and tried to kill the husband, and the husband took the wife, hit her against the wall three times and the lady was back to normal, and at the interview she was talking about her sweet little giggle of a laugh? Or are those two completely different eppisodes? The one I'm thinking of the baby and wife got scratched up too.. I think..

No, that was a completely different episode. This is one where the "experts" think there are two ghosts. An angry woman ghost and a little girl ghost named Sallie.
The wife and child of that family weren't effected by the supposed ghost. The husband didn't have horribly severe scratches either. They were usually thin welts on his stomach. He had a few large cuts on his arm, but most of the time, what they showed on film wasn't a huge problem.

lol, what do you mean, shown on film...lol...they barely show anything normal..that was all make-up and even then, they only showed it like, 2 times

Well, they kept bringing up the fact that while the cuts were growing before their eyes they were "capturing the phenomena on film". However, you couldn't see what was happening by the conveniently placed flashlights, etc.

Soo.. this is a tv program in the US? I haven't heard about it before hmm.. sounds.. bizaroo

Yes, it's a silly American show. It has no real purpose. They cover ghost stories, aliens, and other strange happenings. The only problem is that majority of the time it's crap. It's a bit like watching a poorly done magic show.
"Oh! It was in his hand the whole time! I get it!"

My friend told me about that episode, once. She said that like they think the ghost that was doing the scratching was the mother, because her daughter and her had been abused by a man in that house or something like that. o.0 I'm not quite sure.

I'd like to see this episode.
