1. Do you go to water parks/theme parks?

Very rarely (I've been to my Water park maybe 10 times and to theme parks about 6 or 7 times in my entire life, most of those theme park trips being school trips.)

2. What do you like about water rides?

Great on hot days and keep you cooled off for a while.

3. How long do you like them to take?

Maybe a minute is usually fine.

4. Do you like to get very wet?

Yep. :)

5. Do you like it to go high in the air?

Not unless it's on a track.

6. Do you like it to be very dramatic?

Nah, though I like a big splash at the end (like the water ride in St. Louis's Six Flags)

7. What would make the queueing better?

Larger ride, which would in turn equal more people on the ride at a time and in turn get people out of the line faster. Also, make sure it's well shaded. I can't stand waiting in line for an hour or two roasting in direct sunlight.

8. What themes would you like to see in a water ride?

Hmm... I don't think too many themes are suitable. I prefer my rides themeless.

9. How old are you?

20

10. Are you male or female?

Male

11. Who would you go to a theme park with?

I go with my family, probably in the future with my nieces and nephews.

12. What would encourage you to go on a water ride?

Decent to short line, and it would have to be pretty hot. Also, everyone else would have to drag me on. :P

13. How much would you be prepared to pay to go on a water ride?

Probably $5.00 at most (though I've only been on free water rides)

14. Do you have any other ideas that might help me?

Sorry, nothing comes to mind at the moment.

1. Do you go to water parks/theme parks?

Not often, but occasionally.

2. What do you like about water rides?

Big drops!

3. How long do you like them to take?

Longer, rather than shorter.

4. Do you like to get very wet?

Not really, but I don't mind.

5. Do you like it to go high in the air?

Yes!

6. Do you like it to be very dramatic?

Yes!

7. What would make the queueing better?

Seats - it's often really annoying when you have to stand in a que for ages, your legs hurt =(

8. What themes would you like to see in a water ride?

No preference, really.

9. How old are you?

15

10. Are you male or female?

Female

11. Who would you go to a theme park with?

Friends - other young people.

12. What would encourage you to go on a water ride?

Big drops, shorter que.

13. How much would you be prepared to pay to go on a water ride?

Nothing more than £4, though I've only ever been on free ones.

14. Do you have any other ideas that might help me?

Sorry, can't think of anything right now but if I do then I'll edit it in =)

(What is this for, BTW? :))

13. How much would you be prepared to pay to go on a water ride?
I've never really had to pay before. I'd say maybe 5-6 dollars?

14. Do you have any other ideas that might help me?
Only to maybe decide what age group you're aiming at? You know, do you want it to be for all ages/entire families? Depending on who you want the ride to be for it might determine the specifics of the ride? Not sure if that helps...
:P

How long before kids these days realise that for a high-school project on creating a water ride, which will never actually happen, you can make up all of the results in ten minutes and go play.

We aren't all cheaters like you. Image

I would answer but I've never been on a water ride.. o_o

1) Yes, at least once a year.
2) They cool me off very quickly.
3) Depends. Slides should only take 30 seconds at most, but a good log flume could last well over two minutes.
4) Sure, but not so wet that I can squeeze large amounts of water out of my clothes hours later.
5) Only if its on a track, and even then I'd rather it didn't (putting it on a hill/in a building can fix that problem though).
6) Dramatic to the point of cheesiness!
7) Being in the shade, maybe even a water/soda machine near the entrance so those who have to wait a really long time can at least drink something.
8 ) Anything that makes sense for the water ride and/or park.
9) 18.
10) Female
11) Family, a small group of friends, or an entire band/orchestra (band trips, you know ;) ).
12) The length of the queue. I'll go on just about anything as long as I don't have to wait an hour to get on.
13) I prefer my water rides free, assuming there's an overall park entry fee.

1. Do you go to water parks/theme parks?

I do, yes, but there's none near to me so it's usually on a special occasion: a birthday etc.

2. What do you like about water rides?

There's nothing that makes them better than non-water rides. I like them for the drops and the thrills. I talked about this here

3. How long do you like them to take?

Water rides generally last too long because there is so much just floating slowly round a track. However, it needs to be long enough to justify queuing

4. Do you like to get very wet?

I don't mid it, I'm indifferent. However, getting wet wouldn't make a ride great or make me hate it.

5. Do you like it to go high in the air?

This is one way, albeit not the only way, to make it more dramatic

6. Do you like it to be very dramatic?

Yes.

7. What would make the queueing better?

Well, making it shorter is one thing. As long as I'm doing something, I'm entertained so things like TVs; Quizzes etc. work

8. What themes would you like to see in a water ride?

Themes, to me, are just a way to fill queuing time.

9. How old are you?

19

10. Are you male or female?

Male

11. Who would you go to a theme park with?

Friends

12. What would encourage you to go on a water ride?

I always try to go on all the rides, but for me to go on it more than once it has to be different

13. How much would you be prepared to pay to go on a water ride?

Very little, if anything. I only go on water rides that are free (Although I would pay to go into a theme park where there is a water ride. I think the theme parks in the UK charge about £30 ($60) and this is probably the maximum)

14. Do you have any other ideas that might help me?

Think of something different. There are millions of log flumes: what about combining water rides with BIGGER rollercoasters.
