Did anyone see it?
It was held in Mexico this year.
Miss USA fell on her butt and still made top 5...uggh.
Miss Japan won Miss Universe.
I liked the final question though: "Is it more important to follow your heart or your mind?"

Canada's national costume makes me sad. However it could have been MUCH worse.
The national costumes = suck for the most part.

Alot of political things went on this year. Which is interesting. it makes the compitition more than just a battle of pretty faces.

Miss Tanzania was absolutely stunning. I stopped watching when she didn't make it to the final five.

Unlike most years, I really can't say I don't agree with the judges this year.
Miss Japan = pretty.
There was no miss Latvia this year, even though Estonia was represented, bah. Though I remember last year's "national costume" not looking like anything even close to national ...so maybe it's for the best.

Just more proof that Earth thinks it's the center of the whole universe. It is impossible to prove that there are no other planets with intelligent life, and therefore it is extremely egotistical to call the pageant "Miss Universe". How about Miss Earth?

No, I didn't watch it...I've never watched a pageant before, what's it like? (I'll assume the movie "Miss Congeniality" doesn't count.

Actually, there is a Miss Earth pageant. It has an environmentalist focus. There's also Miss World, which is what the Miss America winners compete in--Miss USA goes on to compete in Miss Universe.
I met a Miss (Location) at my chiropractor's office last week, which is why I know that.
