...to put on a production of the musical High Schhol Musical!
Since we're the first, the original cast is gonna be there, and all kinds of other nifty stuff.

I'm quite excited. There'll be famous people in Ozark, Missouri... well, I mean, besides Brad Pitt. But... no one really likes him.

Anyway, yeah, I thought this was really nifty.

I just saw a production of Disney's High School Musical, at my local high school today. Though, there was no orginal cast and stuff.

Really...Three high schools put on that musical last year, around where I live....it was actually like "musical repeat of the season" since this is the first time I remember school drama departments consciously producing the same show (there is some pretty interesting competition between the private schools...)

Still very cool, but I really don't think you're the first, only maybe the first to actually try to get camera rights or something.

Yeah, that's entirely possible - since my school wasn't one of the ones in the HSM battle, I have no idea what the actual copyright issues they had were, or whether they actually got production rights xP

One of my friends was the lead in the first-ever stage production of High School Musical. There were a large number of Disney bigwigs hanging around--hopefully y'all won't have too many scary corporate people bothering you.

He kind of is/was. My cousin went to high school with him and his yearbook picture is nice.

So you're doing a high school musical about a high school musical? That's kind of cool. I actually kind of liked the movie (And yes, I am over 12 XD). It's nice that you'll get to hear the original actors' reactions.
