I've been trying to sign in a lot and it never seems to work. About how many tries does it usually take you until you're in?Dragonfire wrote:Hpfan36 wrote:This is getting really annoying... anyways, whenever I sign on at AIM, it stays as "1.Connecting.." and doesn't do a thing after! I always have the problem with MSN. What I do is I go to 'File > Cancel Sign In' and keep trying to sign in until I actually do.

Yes. And the latest version of AIM...Dragonfire wrote:Hpfan36 wrote:I've been trying to sign in a lot and it never seems to work. About how many tries does it usually take you until you're in?
It's taken me anywhere from 1 time to 6 or 7 times, though that hasn't happened in a couple of weeks. Do you have the latest version of MSN?

That kinda makes sense, because I'm connected to a router... What do I need to do to unblock it?

Eh, not very sure but I think the router address is something like http://192.168.1.192 it probably varies from router to router..Soujiro wrote:Dragonfire wrote:Tailseh wrote:Well, this is very unlikely, but.. if you're connected to a router.. then the Admin might be blocking port 5190 and the MSN port..

If you can gain control of the router, you can point to your computer as the DMZ server, or tinker with your Port Forwarding settings.
