Interestingly enough not only does Britain have a new government that will be announced fully in the next few days, but it seems that the Welsh Senedd will have a new composition http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/6245040.stm... not that many people will care I'm sure.

I wonder what Brown will be like as a Prime Minister, for some reason he looks a bit more like a Bulldog of a man to me, maybe he'll be a bit more resolute than Blair was. Still not the worst Prime Minister ever. Interesting times ahead.

I think that when it comes to the elections, Gordon Brown hasn't got anything on David Cameron. Brown as prime minister I believe will be short-lived.

Personally Gordon Brown just annoys me. :x

Whether he annoys you or not is utterly irrelevant, he was voted in by Proxy (Labour is our government, he was voted in by their MP's)

sadly as we've learned over the last 8 years...not everyone is thrilled w. the leader thats chosen.

we just deal until the next election comes around.

Apparently, he once got locked in the toilet and Tony Blair had to get him out...

That is actually a common occurance. Girls were always getting locked in toilets at school. Maybe it was just my school, though.

Which is obviously why we keep voting him in.
I for one voted for Labour, on the simple basis that they are better than The Conservatives, and a kick in the teeth is better than Lib dem.

Course, I see this getting locked for political reasons..

thanks debbie downer.

& this isnt ment to be a political argument of any sorts. its a current event realivent to many people on PPT.

no one asking you who you voted for. its a simple matter of what we forsee in the future being changed and comparing a new leader to an old, and not in harsh attacking ways, but from a political standpoint.

if someone cant have a civilized political conversation then they just need to abstain from commenting. we're not here to fight. there may be a funny tidbit or joke, but thats part of life (just read any political minded journal or watch tv. political cartoons have been around since before Dante even wrote his inferno or Ceaser was assassinated).

anyway, I'm curious to know what sort of platform Brown ran on? What his agenda is for the years to come.

haahahaha!
Oh I can see that now being played out as a sketch on Little Britian.............

As for me though, I actually do miss Tony Blair and all the Blairites, but come elections I actually dont know who could win. David CAmeron and the conservatives do have a good following, but the same could be said about the labour party too. As for Lib Dem, as always I dont see them really making a change, but who knows........

Well frankly, I see a very bad person becoming very powerful and ruining everything everywhere, whether this is me or not is immaterial, the fact remains that the world is poised on a bottleneck.

And yes. In the interests of not losing my temper I totally ignored your little comment.

who are you talking about? im sorry but i got a bit lost there...... o_O
I can be really stupid and ditsy about small things..............
David Cameron or Gordon Brown?

I've heard that they are now making a new position called the President of Europe or something like it. Apparently Tony Blair is everyone's choice for the position. I wouldn't mind at all if he took the job, I'm just wondering what could happen once the position is made.
As for the Conservatives and Labour, I wouldn't exactly say I'm either. I really almost beliene in a mix of the two, sometimes I'll support labour, sometimes conservative, other days neither, but really for the elections i have a feeling conservative might come back. Who knows..........@_@

Girls go to the toilet in packs, so we're alright for getting locked in 'cause we have somebody to help us jump out (for the record, I have been stuck in a toilet too).

Gordon Brown had to phone up Tony Blair to get him out...
