They've found Hatshepsut

And it makes me very pleased for some unknown reason. I've always rather enjoyed reading about her and her legacy and this is a rather big event in Egyptology. I'm bothered that i've only found out now, but ah well. It's big news to me none the less, so I thought i'd post it.

WHOAAA!!! That is really awesome!!!

I took Art History AP last year, and Egyptian culture aways interested me. Now time to forward this to my previous Art History teacher...

As an anthropologist, I'm super proud. I'm sure my friend who's way into Egyptology is totally floored right now.

I remember reading about her. She made a pretty nice looking mummy. LOL.

hahaha! oh only a guy could come up with something like that........or maybe not.

Personally I'm ecstatic about it!
My dad is an egyptology nut, the house is filled to the brim with books about egypt, pictures of egypt, souveniers from egypt, documentary tapes about king tut. I guess that's what probably got me hooked onto egypt aswell.
I always follow all the egyptology programs on NatGeo and I cant wait until the next one comes out!
