Its funny how people in Quebec have just celebrated Quebec day (St Jean) and basically don't care for Canada day xD It usually goes something like this "Mehhh I got way too drunk last week. I don't feel like moving for Canada Day" ...Teehee

I'm another one of those people. Of course I work at a racetrack so we hear both the Canadian anthem and American anthem everyday.

Whats really wierd is the on July 2nd, all stores HAVE to be closed if the 2nd falls on a Monday, but they can be open on Sunday, July 1st for 6 hours. Crazy laws.

Umm? Where did you read that? Because I know I went shopping on Monday... and that was the second. And I had lots of fun buying movies... hmm. Weird.

It was a good long weekend. Yay to not working.

If it's a federal law it would be Canada wide; which it's not. If it's a law in Manitoba only then it's a provincial law. Definately not a federal law if so many shops were open.
