Anything and everything goes in here... within reason.

Ugh...this last weekend seemed WAY too short for me. Realizing that also made me realize that most weekends seem to short (especially for those of us who work all summer and during the school year...or for those who just work all the time). I have an 8:00-4:30 (sometimes 5:00 depending on how long my lunch break is) and the weekends just seem too short. So here's the poll question:
How do you feel about the length of the weekend?

I think we should swop the weekdays and the weekends around.

It's tooo short sometimes, but it would get boring for me if I had nothing planned all weekend and it stretched out for longer than 2 days.

Most of the time, it's too short to do what I want to do.. But, even with an extra day : I doubt I would end up doing everything I want to do. Also, they might cut back on vacation time, if we had longer weekends.. But yes, for me it's a bit short.

For anyone who thought you weekend is too short, here its a single day- Saturday. Meaning I went to school from Sunday-Friday.
Thankfully now 'working', I get Friday off too.

I know a county nearby that went to four-day school weeks to save gas money. To keep the number of "instructional hours" the same, that meant every school day was about eight and a half hours long. If that's what it would have taken to get a three-day weekend growing up, I would stay on two-day weekends.
Right now I don't get any weekends, although I'm not working at all this week because the other restaurant host has managed to rack up quite a lot of debt for a high school kid, and now he needs to make money fast.

Sadly I work constantly...even weekends...and plus with classes...I hate pretty much everyday.

Sadly I'm a miserable shut in so Weekends brings people back to the house during the day.
And my brother not working during the holidays is hellish.

I think it's about ideal for me. I tend to turn into a gelatinous blob of lazy if I have more than two or three days off, but I can never really unwind in just one day.

Way too short.
I hate having to wake up at 7 a.m. every week day just for 8 hours of brainwashing.
And "socializing". *shudder*

I think it's fine because 3 day + week-end would involve no work or study on almost 50% of all days. Of course it would be wonderful to think that we would never have to make up for this extended break, but more realistically, it would probably mean cramming the same number of working/educational hours into one less working day!
For this reason, I voted that the weekend is just the right length, though I understand why I'm in the minority so far

I wish it was just a *little* bit longer. I look forward to weekends so much, but then it seems like they're over in no time! I barely have time to catch up on household projects before it's time to go back to work.

I'm currently not doing anything during the week- though weekends still feel like relax time, I suppose it's just habit.
I always wanted 3 day weekends. By the time I'd got enough sleep to vaguely make up for not sleeping enough during the week there was nothing left! And Sundays aren't really weekend...you don't do anything

I dunno...Saturdays are good, but Sundays always feel like a complete waste. If there was a 3 day weekend, I'd probably do something on Sunday but the last day would be like Sunday is now...
I think weekends will never be a good length.

More often than not I'd like the extra day, but on the extra days I do get off, I don't actually do anything. :|
