Tap or Bottled Water?

Tue Aug 07, 2007 7:08 pm

After hearing (something I've known for quite some time now) that Aquafina and Dasani are made out of actually tap water (see here), I decided to make this thread. What do you drink? Tap Water? Bottled Water? Fancy Filtered Water? Personally, I perfer tap water and I really cannot stand the taste of bottled water.

At home, we have filtered tap water, but it depends on the circumstances, I have no qualms about tap water, but when I was in Morocco, only drank bottled water, naturally. :)

Filtered always. The kind from the fridge. I hate tap water. And I often buy bottled water, but later refill it with filtered water.

I drink bottled water. I don't care if it came from "glacial springs in the south of France" or if it was drawn from a municipal water supply. It's distilled and it's more drinkable than our tap water, which tastes like iron and other unpleasant metals.

Fiji water is the only bottled water I'll drink. Otherwise my water goes through a filter 1st (in the fridge door)

Bottled only.

Whatever.

I buy bottled water if I'm out (59p in Boots innit) and then usually fill it from the tap...

be careful with that Igg. Make sure you wash the bottles. Bacteria can build up in reused bottles over time.

I generally drink filtered water (from the fridge), but don't really care if it's tap water or not. The filter is probably expired in our fridge, and it doesn't bother me. Now...in San Antonio, definitely needed to drink filtered water - the natural water was NASTY! (at least where we were)

Filtered tap water. It's fairly cheap and doesn't taste as icky as our normal tap water.

Tap water. I think it's better for you, actually.

Bottled Water.

Around here, you can't really drink tap water and expect to live.

I picked the 'big filter' one since I only get drinking water from Cullagan (sp?), and their RO/DI supplies.

I only drink tap water, unless I can't get water easily. I don't like the taste of bottled water...

Though we did have problems with our well in the past, I think as long as I don't get sick from it I'll be fine. (We get it regularly tested though)

Don't anybody forget that most outdoor hoses have lead in them, don't even give your cats or dogs a drink from there.
