Anything and everything goes in here... within reason.

I'm writing this on what might be the eve of a lifechanging day.
Monday, my father was rushed to the emergency room via ambulance when his blood pressure skyrocketed, and he complained of chest pains and heartburn. They kept him overnight for observation and did a nuclear stress test on him (which generally scares the I ate juice this morning, don't we all love orange juice? out of the whole family). They realised there might've been some blockages, and decided to do a catharization earlier today. Well, now they're looking at having to do either a triple or quadruple bypass.
I'm so frickin' scared, and my head is so scrambled, I've barely been able to think. XP Until I wrote this, my post on various other forums, and my journal entry on Subeta, the only person who knew what was going on was Medli, and her and my mother are the only ones who I have kept me sane.
Please keep myself and my family in your thoughts and prayers.

Awwww, DM! {{{huggles}}} you'll be in my thoughts and prayers. My uncle had a bypass this past spring (with complications) but he's doing fine now, so I'm sure things will work out for the best. {{{huggles again}}} keep us updated!!

Best of luck to your dad, DM.
Open-heart surgery is not as uncommon as it used to be, and it's generally quite safe. That being said, there are always dangers involved in any complex medical procedure. I'll be pulling for you.

*Is super religious*
There, there DM, it'll be all right. You and your family will definitely be in my prayers.
On a side note...you know Kitten Medli? I find that beyond coolio.

My heart goes out to your family. Like Shapu said, bypass surgery is actually quite common nowadays and I'm sure that your dad will be okay. There's always risk involved in any surgery, but please try to remember that it's not completely abnormal. I'm sure he'll be fine. Best wishes to you and your family.

It will change now.
You should be aware of that.

Thanks for your prayers everyone. ^^ My dad made it through just fine. He only had to have a triple bypass, and they took him off his breathing tube today.
Obviously, he was on some very good drugs, because he was smiling when we went in there. XD
Byakuya - I don't know her IRL, but we're very close. We're like sisters, twins even.
...no, seriously. XD I seen her picture, we look very similar. Is creepy. XD

Yeah! I'm glad he's doing OK. And yes...the drugs they give you can be verrrrry good, from what I understood from my uncle.
Will definitely pray for a speedy recovery!

I went to see him today, and aside from a big scar in the middle of his chest and some weakness, he's doing fine. ^^
