Printing or Cursive?

Sun Sep 23, 2007 5:24 am

It seems like I'm the only person I know who actually uses cursive writing nowadays. Anybody else with me?

For me, it totally depends on what I'm doing and how I'm feeling. I usually print, type, and write in cursive at least a little every day.

I usually print, but my print is slightly curvy at the same time. Its hard to explain lol. you really have to see it:

basically the text at the bottom is my usual handwriting.

My answer to this is: yes.

Basic handwriting and not taking is in a print-cursive mix. 99.999% of all of my 'l's are cursive, but the same percentage of my 's's and 't's are print. Also, a lot of my lab reports and stuff have to be typed. All of the above has to be the best answer.

Cursive, unless I want to be sure someone else can read it.

That is so cool!

Anywho, I write cursively when I'm in a hurry but tend to write printed if I need something to look neat, as I think it looks better without all the superfluous swirls

I'm a bit of a combination...I basically print, but when I'm taking notes it tends to start to join together and go towards cursive a lot more.

When I write in my journal, I always write in cursive. I'm not sure why.

I use an unholy union of cursive and print.

A chicken scratch that my 9th-grade civics teacher once told me "was just like that serial killer." She never specified which one, which I guess is ok...there are some I'd rather be compared to and some I'd not.

I type everything. I haven't handed in a paper hand-written in probably 4 years now. Typing is just faster, easier on my hands, and it will show me if I make mistakes. :)

My handwriting is a mix of cursive and print (leaning more towards the cursive side). I believe there's a name for that...but I can't recall it at the moment.

I usually type everything.. but if I write, it's in print because my use of handwriting diminished by the time I learned cursive.. so I'm not exactly.. erm.. fluent in it.. *cough*

A combination of both printing and cursive, notably unreadable, though.
