If you were on death row, what would you want to eat as your last meal? Comfort food? Something snazzy that you've never tried before? Blowfish, 'cause it's not like there's much risk now?
I'd have to go with gumbo--it falls under the comfort food category for me. One of my favorite memories is when my grandma from Louisiana taught me how to make gumbo; it's such a traditional family dish to me because of that. I've been known to go over to friends' houses and cook for them just for the chance to make some gumbo. If I were about to die, I'd want to go with some nicely-seasoned gumbo in my stomach.
How about you?

There's a fantastic little sandwich shop just by my house and they do the most awesome BLT I've ever tasted in my life. All the ingredients are fresh, and the bread is soft and tasty, and they put the right amount of the filling in - with just a little dash of salt and a healthy splodge of mayo. And I had one today for the first time since I've been back and it was FANTASTIC. So, I'd make them construct me a BLT for my last meal =:0)

I'd probably want linguini with white clam sauce.
It's been one of my favorites since I was little. My dad used to make it all the time and he still makes it when we're having dinner over there.
I think that's what I'd want because it's so lovely and it'd remind me of family.

Well, other than the fact that they will never take me alive;
Orange juice, Oysters, calamari, Angel Delight (strawberry) Chicken (cooked by me) all that sort of thing.
These would be the things that can cause me to be sick.
(Saying that, Oyster and calamari I've never tried, but just looking at them can make me retch)
Cos if I'm being executed, I'm making a huge mess of everyone around me.

I love you for that. You remind me of me
COKE. Not technically a meal, but it'd make me to hyper to do anything with.
Chocolate. Comfort food. End of.

An all-you-can-eat buffet made up of food my mother cooked. Potato soup(her style, which isn't at all like regular soup), cornbread, chili, vegetable stir-fry, rice, fruit salad...and lots of other things. Plus some desserts.
And then I'd eat very slowly. My last meal would last a long time.

My mothers meatloaf, a Primanti Bros sandwich, creme brulee, and Turner's iced tea. Its all comfort food, except the creme brulee. I just really like that. Turner's iced tea is the ultimate comfort-drink. I cant get it out of the area, so I've taken jugs of this tea with me anywhere Ive traveled.
