Anything and everything goes in here... within reason.

I have at times been known to speak chat in the real world - I'll slip "IMHO" into a conversation, for example, or "lawl." It confuses my fuddyduddy parents to no end, but oddly enough some of my coworkers understand how much I am made of win (or pwn, depending on the situation), and...well, they "get it." They're mostly in their 20s, part of a new breed as it were, and...
Well, nuts. I'm rambling.
Anyway, just curious: Have y'all ever chatspake? With whom? And what's your favorite internet-speak inspired word?
I'll start this game. Mine is "Rofflecopter!" and I usually say it with the exclamation point implied (although sometimes I'll do a hand gesture indicating same). I'm such a dork I even made a shirt of it on cafepress.
If any of you buy this shirt I will never forgive you. Don't buy it - it's just there so I can tell my parents I'm a clothing designer. They think that's hip. Well, my mom does. My dad thinks I'm a drunk.
Moving on...
So my favorite is rofflecopter!. My second favorite, without a doubt, has gotta be "ftw."

WIN! I say that all the time, I swear it must get annoying. And on the other end of the spectrum, FAIL.
I've never said 'lol' out loud though, thank goodness. I'm not that much of an internet geek.
... Love you spapu!

Spapu ahahahahhaa. That's a good one. I'm going to use that from now on.
I once said lol in real life by accident but then stopped myself. It sounded so... strange and foreign.

I've said "PWNED!" on several different occasions now, along with "lollerskates" and "roflcopter."

All I can say is lol. Heck. I'll lol out loud.

*points up* You laugh out loud out loud?
Mine are Epic, Win, Fail, Pwnt/Pwned, Lulz, Roflwaffle, and 'grape job' which was a typo of 'great job' but is now a running joke between me and my friends.
I also randomly use memes all the time.

No, my friends and I 'lol' out loud. We literally say 'lol' (pronounced lawl) out loud at times. brb (prounced Bee-arb) is slowly spreading into my lexicon, but that would still make only two of us that say it.
Also, we refuse to use the word 'pwned' (pronounced powned) unless we are feeling really geeky since that is just a horrid word. Owned is so much better when playing Halo, SSBB, FIFA 08, and other similar games (Zach & Wiki, Burnout, Doki Doki Panic, etc).

Oh I get it. I pronounce pwned as pwuhned. I always try and make the pronounciation as close to the spelling as possible. Lol is lol. Not lawl. But that could be something to do with accents.
Wait, so if you can lol out loud, you lolol'd? XDD

Well, I rarely use any of those slangs in conversation. In my school, the most popular are: owned, pwned, ownage, lol, rofl and AYB.
(Red words mean that I have used these words before)
Why don't I use them? I am not really against people using those words but certain people don't understand the meanings of these words and I have to be careful when to use them, as some people really take offence for using them.

My favourite would be "woot". Yeah, I'm lame
I also use it IRL, though not very consciously... it just comes out of my mouth from time to time. Same goes for "lol", "omg", "madness" and "imho".
Sad really.

Hm. This is a tough one.
I definitely like "woot", and have been known to use it out loud. "Epic fail" and "win" have made their ways into my vocabulary from time to time - though I confused my stepdad when I told him that a specific (Star Wars) deck of cards were "made of win."
I use a ton of others when chatting on AIM, etc, though.

Lol is quite a common word, but so is the phrase "epic fail".

Another intertubes phrase that is big with my friends and I is a reference to a recent VG Cats comic. It is one a few weeks ago. I cannot quote it since I'll get in trouble, but it is a great Pokemon reference. Quoting webcomics, machinima , and Zero Punctuation is always fun.

That reminds me - I do say "Interwebs," "Teh Intawebz!" "The Intergoogles" or just "The Google."
