Ha, a few months from now no one will be talking about this marvelous discovery...why? They'll pay these people off or kill them or something.

I heard someone figured out how to make a car run on water years ago and they paid the guy big money to keep his invention to himself and not talk about it.

And if they ever find a cure for a disease they pay those people off too, because the pharmaceutical companies want to keep you just well enough to buy pills for the rest of your miserable life, but not ever be cured.

And the big oil people want you to be dependent on them and never ever have it easy.

You know, yogurt is really just bacterial waste. So is cheese.

And now we have bacteria that poop out crude oil (and probably poop crudely, if you were to ask their wives).

Which leads me to wonder: why don't we just use cheese to run our cars?

To those that know their video game history, this is eerily similar to the plot of Metal Gear 2 (Not MGS2: Sons of Liberty, but the original MG2 on the MSX). Thus, the only logical conclusion to this discovery is that we be will getting Gundams or other giant robots sometime in the near future.

I love it when life finally catches up to video games.

I'm called a conspiracy theoriest fairly often, and even I think that's a bit extreme.

Who is "they?"

A car that runs on water? There is no way that could possibly work. It's chemically impossible.

Besides, if he kept it to himself, how did you find out about it?

Then how do you explain antibiotics, vaccines, and chemotherapy?

If "big oil" thought this idea had any potential at all, they would buy it and use it themselves. So far, these guys can produce one barrel of oil per WEEK, and that's assuming the bacteria (they aren't really bugs) don't eat the oil they produce (most fossil fuels secreted by the Earth are quickly eaten by bacteria; the only oil that survives is deep underground in high-pressure, high-heat hydrocarbon traps).

I actually agree with theonlysaneone (*SHOCK!*). I don't believe in those conspiracy theories. Frankly there's so much money to be made from the cures, the water running car and other such things that I can't see someone being 'paid off' to not use them.

The University Hopistal in my city is well known for developing different types of treatments and various other procedures/drugs to help people. I'm the child of some of those procedures. It does take time and innovation and a whole whack of money to produce things like cures that are still safe.

Bees... *shudder* I have an acute melissophobia (fear of bees) of the things... one of the few things that will make me jump from a moving car.

I don't see me keeping bees for any purpose... ever

I think wash was a euphemism. Here, take this steel-wool.

I'm not into conspiracies either, but you actually can use water as fuel. Well, salt water actually. Observe this YouTube video:

If you do a search, you can find several other credible interviews.
