That is hilarious!!! I mean, seriously. Sneaky Microsoft, though.

Keep in mind that Windows Vista as of now has undergone numerous fixes since the hideous wreck when first released.
On top of that, they were only shown it. The ratings for just looking at Vista were of course higher before people actually got it and discovered the endless slew of hardware and software conflicts, annoying 'security' features, etc.
So yeah. Mojave shows very little, just the suprising fact that 90% of the people couldn't even recognise vista (though this as well proves nothing, Windows 95 and 98 graphically looked identical).

That was the way things went with XP.
*EVERYONE* hated XP and were like "GO BACK TO WINDOWS ME" (when we all know that the last good Windows operating system, if there ever was, was 2k Pro), and now that there's all the bug fixes and stuff, everyone loves it.

*Has had one problem with Vista before I updated it*
And I really should have known better than installing the train wreck of a game known as KOTOR 2 anyway.

Well, the most significant improvement came with Service Pack 1, I think. Vista was tons better after that. I liked it before but I absolutely love it now. It was Microsoft's fault for pushing it out in the state it was in though. Vista with Service Pack one is pretty good, and deserves that approval rating. Despite the hardware and software conflicts, and security features, which have been significantly reduced.
Microsoft's one of those things that gets better with time.

I've been using it since Beta or one of the early releases, I can't remember, it's been good to me. And I can imagine that Vista is way easier for new users to use. The functions are a lot less convoluted and organized better in Vista, and the new start menu is heavenly.

I know I've said this before, but nobody likes ME or 2000

That's... sneaky, yet brilliant.

I'm not surprised. I still use XP simply because I haven't upgraded my computer yet. Personally, I really want Direct X 10. Vista is a good operating system, it just had a few bumps in the beginning.

ME, I can see.
2k Pro actually isn't half bad. I haven't had any problems with it thusfar.
I guess it might be since that machine's offline. ^^;;

I had a windows ME computer and it was the biggest disaster ever!! I dont think XP or Vista could ever compare to the travesty that was windows ME. I actually went out and bought a copy of XP once it was released because ME was that bad! So i dont know why you're thinking people wanted to go back to ME.

Yeah, ME was pretty terrible. I had it for a while, and it was so bad. It was the biggest mistake ever.
Windows 98 was awesome, however.

My dad still has it - he even bought a new computer that had XP on it, wiped the hard drive and re-installed 98 on it. he has this thing that "if it ain't broke don't fix it", and no matter how many things i can point out are now "broke" about it, he won't upgrade. It's so annoying, as you can't plug external hdd or thumb drives into it, he can't do his tax on it, and what i thought would be the kicker but for some reason isn't, Windows have stopped supporting it and issuing upgrades etc.
