My friend wants to be a cryptozoologist when she grows up (like that will ever happen:p). She says that some day she's going to be on survivor, and they'll show her occupation as cryptozoologist. Then most of the general public will be confused.

lol one of the gradschool degrees im looking at is myth and folklore. sadly cryptozoology is not offered in degree form only as a 1 time class in some larger colleges. no degree is available tho which is stinky. im one of those weird few people that beleive in unicorns and dragons to a point where i will argue with people for hours about it. but i think the coolest critter on that site is the caddy!

I'm not really that much of a cryptozologist, but it is quite possible for many undiscovered species to exist. Infact we're killing them off before we find them thanks to the amazon being destroyed.

Hey, that sounds cool. I can see how many people would have this for a job because it really is a fascinating topic. I love reading mysteries about the Yeti and the Loch Ness Monster. People are
always claiming to have solved the mysteries and there are so many solutions, they're mysteries in themselves as to how people got there.

Isn't the Bigfoot and the Yeti the same thing?
Anywho, that would be kinda interesting...

Bigfoot or Sasquatch I believe refers to the one living in America while as the Yeti is the one that lives in Asia.
But I love cryptozoology its the most interesting thing, shows about bigfoot and loch ness use to come on a lot some years back theres a serious lack of them, I demand they put them back so I have something to watch on saturday.

Well, they're basically the same, just different names and different places where they live.
Also, Sasquatch lives in Canada too.

Just to clear this up...
America/Canada: Bigfoot/Sasquatch
Asia (himalyas mostly): Yeti
Australia: Yowie
There is a name for ones in Borneo also but I cannot remember the name.

I've allways thought Cryptozoology was an interesting study. I remember two years ago in my English class, spekaing with a girl who claimed she has saw the Yeti. Pretty interesting stuff.

There's an old legend about a Sea Serpent in one of our local lakes, it's was just a hoax though, but we love Seymour anyways... We have a festival each year. (This years happens to be this weekend)

Maybe I'll meet her while
I am on survivor, with an occupation of "PPT Moderator".
XD
And anyways, cryptozoology has also been interesting to me. It's not something I would think about doing as a job, but it's still fascinating.

I'm still hoping they find something in Loch Ness . . . but as for Bigfoot, the guy who created him as a hoax confessed in his last will and testament.
Understandably, many (most?) of those who have devoted a major portion of their lives studying Bigfoot refuse to believe it, but alas, they were snookered.
