They has been some stuff saying their might be aterrorist attack on london. The govorment are sending out booklets on how to survive in an emergency(i.e.terrorist attack).......that means they think their will be one... :o :o :o I live in lodon, near plenty of places that will probably be a target!!

I got one of those booklets too. I doubt they mean there'll be a terrorist attack. You cant predict any attack. Dont worry to much about it.

pfft theres a terror threat here about everyother day. they get old and frankly no one cares anymore.

I'm not that worried really. There's nothin we can do to stop it, is there? No point worrying about something that might not happen.

Yeah, I'm so grateful to live off terrorist interest spots :D

Canary Wharf and the West End will probably be the areas, if in an attack, they would go for.

Terrorists want to attack the US more than any other countries. I doubt there will be an attack in London.

Yes,dont worry about it. You cant stop it. I know its hard not to worry,but..try your best. I'll pray for you if that makes you feel better.

It's weird how little things pop up and take you by surprise. I was driving into a town that has a factory for making bombs or something and usually I don't think about the factory being there. Then I hear an announcement on the radio that said something like "If you hear this sound it means that the armory is being evacuated. (A kind of loud siren plays) In the event of a terrorist attack, please listen to the radio for information and stay in your homes. Do not attempt to pick your children up from school, as the schools already have an evacuation plan."

I was thinking "How likely is it that this place could get attacked. And that part about not picking up children from school..yeah right..like anyone is going to sit there and not worry about their kids..."

Yeah, the U.S.'s terror warning thing never stays on one level. And no one really thinks about it anymore. It changes to yellow, then to orange, then back to yellow. I'm sure we'll be in an yellow-orange level any day now.

Anyway, if you're really scared, you can assemble yourself a survival kit. Flashlight, extra batteries, bottled water, etc. Keep it somewhere you can reach really quickly.

I'm not that worried anymore. I live near Detroit, and I think terrorists would rather go for bigger cities like LA, New York, and Washington. Besides, just in case something does happen, I've got my Worst Case Scenario Survival Handbook ready. ;)

I live near Chicago, so any bombs or planes going there might hit us. Oh well. And if they tell us not to leave the house, more computer time for me. :D

Ooh, this reminds me... A Pakistani man was arrested for plotting or something, and he had a tape of several landmarks, including 4 here in Austin: the Governor's Mansion, the State Capitol building, the Frost Bank tower (brand new, and is the tallest building in Austin), and Mansfield Dam (when the dam was built, Lake Travis was formed).

I would've never thought Austin would be a terrorist threat. o.o

They say there gonna attack stuff all the time, there all crazy...but I guess the best is try not to keep it on your mind all the time, for that will keep you worried, and go on, and if something happens, I guess you'll have to rely on what that little booklet said. Well keep cautious I guess but don't worry yourself to death.

This topic is a bit too political for these forums. Even if it wasn't, some members could get panicy over this sort of stuff and we don't want to risk that.
