Young Love?

First of all, I'm 10 years old. BUT, my friends range from 9-18 years old. Some of my 9 year-old friends have girlfriends! I'm like, whaaa? Why the he** do you have a girlfriend? I'm very mad when they get girlfriends or boyfriends. Then, because of that, all they do is play with EACHOTHER ALONE all the time! They throw me away to stay alone at recess! Geez! I wish "Young-Love" didn't exist! It's not true love at all! The only "True-Love" people'll ever have is the person they get married to!

I have no idea why they "LOVE" eachother anyway, next recess, they start fighting! Then they don't talk to eachother for the whole day. Then, spontaniously, they get back up together the next day. AND, while they told everyone they like he or she. They STILL pretend to not like them. You know what? It's mostly the boys who go after the girls. They play those stupid "Girls chase Boys" crap. And even when they play "Truth-or-Dare" the dares are like:

"Kiss Raman"
"Kiss Maginda"
"Tell Shawn you love him"

IT'S DUMB! In my opinion, and some of my friends are 15, right? They think it's cute. Well, you know what's not cute? Some girls flirt. They flirt me. God, they sneak up on me and tell me they love me. IN FRONT OF THEIR BOTHERS/SISTERS. And you know what they say when I tell their older siblings that their siblings are annoying? They say that it's cute and that they love me. It gets on my nerves. Here are the "New-Generation" of what you're little siblings are doing at school:

"Strawberry shortcake. Appleberry pie! Who's gonna be your lucky guy (or girl)? A..B..C..D..E..F..G..H..I..J..K..L..M..N..O..P..Q..R..S..T..U..V..W..X..Y..Z (And so on)

"You know what Daniel? I need help with her/him!"

"He loves me, he loves me not..."

"She loves me, she loves me not.."

"Let's play wedding!" (GRADE 1)


Okay, so those are only a SMALL portion of what they say. But, you know what's worse? I'm going into Grade 5 on September 3rd. They're MUCH worse. They walk backwards, they chew gum, they talk like "Yo, what the dillio?". It's going to be a wild ride, and I'm going to be the Lon3r..

Whoop-de-doo...$$$

I used to be like that in primary school. I kissed every girl there was. (And every boy) I didn't really care much, or think about what I was doing. I was a brainless git. So, I don't remember anything about it.

They're just having fun. <3 :P

Your only 10? I'm gonna suggest dropping the language then. I cussed at 10,I'm quite ashamed now. I dont want to get on you about it,but in my opinion I dont think people so young should talk that way. (Or anybody,really.)

Anyway,that is kind of..odd,to put it nicely. I dont think its possibly to find your true love that soon. You are right,the only true love is your husband or wife. Kids these days are going further and further downhill. Sooner or later,theres going to be 5 year olds acting 15. Seems 8+ have already got there. (Not putting any offence on you of course. Your only 2 years younger than me.)

I personally would rather see young children cuss than talk like this:

I cussed at ten. I continue to cuss. *shrugs* I don't regret it. I hate being clean all the time. It gets your feelings out, but most of the time I don't inflict it on anyone else.

Anyhoo... ten year old having a relationship? O.o Per-lease. I'm two years on, and I've never had a boyfriend. Not crazy about boys either, in fact, I really have no desire for a boyfriend. Maybe a boy ... friend (meaning a boy who is a friend), but not a boyfriend. O.o My friends are like, "Oh dear Max dumped me but now I like Aidan", and it's like, WHAT!?

Hmm. I remember 9 year olds 'going out' when i was at Primary School (No, I was never one of them. Doomed to die a spinster *sob*).
They didn't do anything except say they were going out and profess to love eachother with ocassional pecks on the cheek. All perfectly tame.

Same opinion as Igg...except no one "dated" in my elementary school. Really, no one.

But hey, it's a ripe young age, playing around a little doesn't hurt. "Relationships" at this age really wouldn't be called "young love", rather more like "pretend love". Kinda like pretend cooking and pretend weddings, etc. Should be a phase they'll get over with.

This sounds like a very perplexing predicament...try and be smooth with the girls that sneak up on you to tell you they love you by going 'I love you too' and giving them an unexpected kiss on the cheek. This'll take probably 100% of them out by disgustion or embarrasment.

Anyway, you'll forget all about anything that happens when you are ten by thr time you have an actual girlfriend, and don't worry about the bad slang language, its a phase (if not consult your doctor).

Ugh, little kids dating...I hate that. Little kids shouldn't be pre-occupied by courting and the like; they have the rest of there lives to date and get married. They don't need there childhood to be ruled by worrying about getting the girl or getting the boy. They should just ride bikes or do whatever ten year olds do without having to wrry about dating.
