What do you do when the girl you like has a very strong ex who has his sights set on the girl again this year...Im afraid to ask the girl out because the ex would pummel me...what do i do?

Go for it, and if the boy objects- tell him that the girl is not his property.

Ja, dating is a rather disturbing and scary world but he can't own her, even if he thinks so. I would go foward with it.

all i can say is that girls admire bravery..if you want to go after her, you got to show that you are willing to brave through dangers for her

OTOH, if you gave up just because you are afraid of been beaten up..then you probably don't like her enough..

You can call her if you want, that way the ex doesn't have to know. She will admire you for that. I acctualy think the ex won't do anything about it, so just go ahead.
