Mon Sep 06, 2004 4:17 am

About an half an hour ago I just got back from the hospital because I sprang my wrist from falling on it while playing dodgeball. It hurts but it doesnt hurt when i write for some strange reason...so the doctor said that i streched some legiments and I have to wear the cast for two weeks and i cant play any sports! *sigh*

Ouch O_O

Sorry to hear that :(, I hope you get better soon. It's a cast or just like a sling? I can't imagine how a cast must feel like. It must be even worse to know you can write well, you can't get out of doing homework then :( :P

So you got nothing GOOD out of that? Bad luck!

I sprained my wrist really badly a few years ago, when I used to skate a tiiiiiiiny little rock got caught in the axel and threw me of the board. (Yup, I can survive a fall from a handrial but not from a tiny little rock :x )

Well I hope you feel beter soon, my doctor said 2 weeks but I was better in a week and a bit, so hopefully you'll be like a miracle cure 8)

If you've read my Livejournal (which would be scary) you would know I suffered a similar fat, except my ankle. I managed to fall down a staircase and I did something to my ankle, its 5 days later and it still hurts a bit.

All traces of the pull for ya should be gone in less than a week :)

I'm sorry to hear that, I hope it goes get better for you. I remember several years ago I tripped and fell into a ditch on the way home and sprained my wrist. It was minor enough that all I had to do was keep a bandage on it for a couple weeks.

A few weeks ago I sprained my entire left arm. Only had to wear a sling for a while.

I know how much it hurts. Can't turn your arm upside down, can you? couldn't. Good luck on recovering, I know how much it hurts badly.

I sprained my wrist really bad a couple years ago...I actually tore the cartilidge in it, and I had to wear a splint for...over a month, I think.

Yours doesn't sound nearly as bad, hope it feels better soon. =)

Feh.
Not playing sports is only a recomendation.
*rolls eyes*

Then again, you may actually want to heal. Yeah... you might actually want to heal. *thinks*
Well, at least you didn't break anything or rip anything (personally depending on what you rip; thats far more painful in my mind then breaking a bone).
Rest up, and feel better.

Excuse me....a splint o_O I've heard of splinters......those sharp "spikes"....

Aww, sorry about that. I've never injured my limbs before though, so I don't really know what it feels like.

Ouch, that's got to hurt. Be thankful you didn't break it though - my friend broke her arm a couple of years ago, and said the cast was really annoying to wear, especially since it was over Summer.
