Sacrifices

Has anyone here had to make any sacrifices so they could be with someone else, have you missed something you like so you can spend time with someone who means alot to you?

I haven't, yet. I probably will on Saturday. For anyone that knows who the "Senate Kill Team" are (of you don't its a group of AMAZING pro skaters [aggressive rollerbladers]) they're coming to Newcastle Exhibition skate park, not sure what time, but it'd be a great chance to meet them. But no, I'm going to spend time with "someone" seeing as she misses her favourite radio show each week and did miss the start of her favourite (well I doubt its her favourite) TV show during the week over summer.

I'm not too bothered about missing a bunch of pro skaters come to Newcastle, seeing as no one else bothers to come up here.

So... people, share your thoughts or experiences...

Edit: the USD and Kizer teams are gonna be there too. meh

I've made a lot of sacrifices for school. Not seeing my friends, not going to Edmonton; and it'll happen this year too.
I miss my friends back in the big city; but I can't afford (both the money and the time) to go up so often.
This weekend i'm sacrificing school to go to the Masters tournament (show jumping, not golf). And i'll have a blast. But i've got a huge amount of work to do over the weekend, so at night, i'll be doing that, not enjoying myself and relaxing like I want too.
Couple weeks from now, i'm sacrificing school again to go to BC, to see a egyptian exhibit (from the British Museum). I'm going to miss a day of class, and a whole bunch of parties my friends are throwing that weekend. *shrugs*
Thats just in the next month; who knows what it'll be like over Christmas if i've got a outside job. *sulks*

wow, thats alot worse then what I'm doing on Saturday. Well it'll all be worth it in the end. I'd say its ok to miss school to go and see something you enjoy, especialy as you have to do school work each night.
