Anything and everything goes in here... within reason.

Last night I went to bed and nothing hurt at all, I was all perfect!
Now I wake up and my right eye is pink around it and I can't open it up the whole way without it hurting.
Anything I can do?

Ok ok seriously, you should see a doctor because it might be pink eye. Don't touch your eye, don't rub it, and if you do, wash your hands immediately. 100% serious.

I would suggest getting a rag with cold water on it and putting it on your eye for a while.
Does your eye itch? You may have pink eye.

They're right. You should call the doctor's and make an appointment because that is very contagious. Do *not* touch it with your fingers. If you apply anything to it, wash whatever thoroughly afterwards. A cold compress like Dawn suggested will help for now, but a doctor can prescribe medicine that will help a lot more.

It's not pink around the eye.... Around the eye lid though......

I stand by my original advice. Pink Eye is usually an infection that starts. I know I've originally had a rash on my cheek that's turned into pink eye. See a doctor!

Sounds like it's probably pink eye. What everyone else said...don't touch it, wash your hands often, and call the doctor, get an appointment asap.

I once woke up with a rash around my face and eye like that.
It turned out to be an allergic reaction...
Have you put anything new/different onto your face recently?

It happenes. Maybe a lash fell in and started an infection of some sort, of maybe it's an alergic reaction like fellyoflight said. But to be sure, wash your hand everytime you touch your eye. You don't want to get your other eye infected, do you...
Also make a doctors apointment so a *real* doctor can check it out...

Definitely go to a doctor - it could very well be pinkeye. If you can, go now. What's the worst that could happen? You end up being healthy? Sometimes it's worth a few bucks just to hear that.

I went to the doctor.
They said to put eye drops in.
I HATE EYE DROPS!
I am running around with a patch over my eye and not letting anyone put drops in.

Be prepared for the infection to get worse than. They gave you the eyedrops to help your eye. Avoiding them is only going to further along whatever it is that you have, be it pink eye or something else.

I hate eye drops too
But you've got to take them...get a parent or friend to put them in for you. Lie flat on a sofa or something, and massage the point 3cms away from your middle finger. It relaxes you ^^

If you close your eyes and put the drops on the inside corner of your eye, then blink quickly, they go in really easily.

What I usually do (I wear contacts, but have dry eyes) is to look up and to the side. With one hand, I'll hold the eye dropper, and with the other, hold the inside corner of my eye open. One drop, and there you go.
Seriously, you'll need the eyedrops. They contain an antibiotic to fight the infection and probably a mild anaesthetic to keep you from noticing that your eye itches. Both of these are helpful.
