Meh, just curious..I do. Just for fun.. you know..we pick at our change to see if we have anything. I also collect the state coins. I have a cool board to put them all on.

My dad's all about collecting coins, which might be why I'm not that interested in it. I used to collect the State quarters, but I got tired of it.
Now I just keep certain coins that are cool to me. I had a bunch of British coins (thanks to Igg).
Paul (xerai) is supposed to send me a Euro.
I'm more interested in collecting paper currency from around the world. I have £5 thanks to Igg, and $5 Australian thanks to Alex.

I used to collect coins from different countries. But..I just kinda stopped.

My mother went through a big state collecting phase.
When I was younger my grandfather used to send me random coins for this "semi collection" that he had started for me. I never really kept up with it, though.

I used to collect state quarters, but then I couldn't be bothered.
I suppose you could say I collect coins, though, as I still have a bunch of American coins and some Euros...if anyone else wants to send me money, too, feel free.

"I just keep the cool ones if I happen to find one."
My dad frequently puts out of use coins in my dinner money, like shillings..
I lose them though :/ Got a thre'penny bit at the moment!

My dad collects state quarters, but I don't. My only "collection" would be cool foreign coins I find every once in a while.

I used to. Well actually, I still kinda do, but I haven't visited any countries I previously haven't been to lately.

I've collected the entire set of euro-coins soon (Finland, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Luxembourg, Austria, Greece)
Of course, more countries will join eventually giving me more to collect

I used to have Soviet rubles. They don't make those anymore. I have no clue where they went. They were my dad's. I hope I didn't perminantly lose them.
I also have Hong Kong money from before the switch over. I'm not sure if they're different now, but if they are, I have the old ones.

I keep the cool ones
I have money from India, Canada, Russia and Dominican Republic. I tend to keep US coins that are from the 60's or so. Fun stuff.

I have money from all over the place. I try and keep up with the state quarters. And I have currency from when I went to the following places: Scotland, Iceland, France (when they had francs), Thailand, Laos, Japan, and Canada. Other people have brought me currency from: Ghana, Costa Rica, and Mexico. But I wouldn't say I'm a serious collecter. I'm more of a serious traveler and I just pick up loose change along the way.
