Anything and everything goes in here... within reason.

Personally, I don't see why somebody would pay $300 for a lumpy bag with rainbow "LV"'s written all over. They're ugly and expensive, but people keep buying them just so they can say, "Look at me, I'm Sandra D.! I have a Louie Vuitton bag! *hair flip*"
Am I the only one with this opinion?

Well, actually I think there kinda cute...but I would never ever spend $300 on a bag. So I agree with you on that one.

I don't get it myself. They're not that great looking and they're expensive? Are they really $300 though? I didn't realize it was that much. Besides, they'll probably go out of fashion soon enough and then there'll be the next ugly bag to spend ridiculous amounts money! Hooray! ^_^

I've never seen one. Wait...I've never heard of them.

Never seen/heard of it... But it does sound ridiculous.

I'm not too fond of the louis vuitton bags, but I am very guilty of dropping quite a chunk of money on my dooney and bourke bags... they're really durable and cute. Very worth the money.

They are ok. I have a real one. The only reason I have one is that I got it for $20.00 USD in New York City.
I like the spikes on the handle.
Here is a picture of the kind I have, there is all different styles but this is the one I see the most.

You didn't have a choice for "I've seen them and think they're cute, but don't own one myself."
I wouldn't pay that much for a purse (I'm very happy with my $10 Walmart pink sneaker purse, thank you very much.
lol). My sister has a cherry blossom one, though, and I love it. She bought one for my mother as well for something (I think it was for last Christmas).
I think they are cute, but they're just not my style. I'd much rather have one of those cute bustier purses.

If that's the case, are you sure it's real? I was there not too long ago and I saw a lot of fake ones being sold at that price.

My Mum got one. I watched her drop 300 bucks on the stupid thing. I couldn't comprehend buying such an ugly..duffel bag-esque thing at all. Ugh, waste of money.

While I've heard the name before, I've never actually seen one.. though I can't imagine they'd be worth buying. Most high fashion things like that aren't.

Does my fathers $600 Prada wallet that was stolen by Australians count. They were in the Louis Vutton cup.

Gah! I see those ALL AROUND my school. Everyone has a fake one now, apparently.
I think, personally, that it's kind of sad. The first time I've ever seen one was when my friend had one on the bus before the craze.
I thought it was really ugly and I told her that, and she smacked me with it. But seriously, all it is is a white background with deformed Xes (I know it's LVs) and weird patterns.
I dunno. I'd rather spend a good 300 bucks on CDs, but that's just me.

*looks at piccy* Ugh. Those are hideous. (No offense to anyone.) Besides the fact that I don't want to spend $300 on a purse, and that I already have a reallycool purse I got for my bat mitzvah...I definitely wouldn't want one.
Fri Oct 15, 2004 9:14 pm
Never seen one... but from the pic posted... I personally think that that certain one is kinda ugly.
The bow is too prissy/girly
The patterns/colors on it make me want to vomit.. they just don't look attractive.
Anywho... I'm not a fashion person myself. I could really care less if something is namebrand or not.
