National Novel Writing Month

I was introduced to this in an LJ friend's blog. You know who you are.
It's an interesting challenge, to write a 50,000 word novel [175 page] in one month, starting on November 1st till November 30th. That's about 1700 words a day. I signed up, knowing I probably won't make it, but it's trying that counts, right?

I can do 500 in 15 minutes (im a freak, i know) so this shouldn't be too hard. It would be cool if our works could get published, but that won't be for a while i suppose. Well, good luck to all who are applying!
