...Just what I was about to ask.

Well, it is till they add the Guys usergroup.

No. It's not.

Just because the guys group isn't in place doesn't mean that there can be a free for all for the topics that would have been in place there. It also doesn't mean that the ladies can start talking about "girl problems" which seem the be the focus of almost half of the topics on the Diva's board. I don't think the males would be too comfortable reading that...

This goes for any other group especially if the purpose of that board was to prevent others from reading it. This includes Divas, Guys and Debate. Believe it or not...there was a time when we didn't have these boards and we pretty much survived without them.

Now....I'm changing the topic title to be less gender-specific.

Being relavent to the previous title, I've been hit numerous times with soccer balls. In general almost every day.

I have no problem with gender specific issues.

Biological facts of life. Man gets hit in his gender specific area, he hurts himself. Every month a female has gender specific issues. If this causes anyone to get squeamish, I apologize.

I don't think we should refrain from discussing this unless there is a more appropriate board to put it in.

I do. This is a child friendly community, and children do NOT need to know about this stuff, and some older people dont want to hear it because a lot find it gross and think it should be discussed privatly..(Like me.)

When do most people learn about human growth and development in school? Where I am, we do it around age 10. Children will know about human organs, and I don't think that this discussion is really disgusting in any way. The poll simply asks if you've been hit in painful places.
And yes, I have.
You could also take it as anywhere it hurts-- well, if you get smacked in the head with a ball, it'll hurt. Soccer is a dangerous sport. So is tetherball and badminton.

Children don't need to know that being hit in the genitals will cause pain? I think it's a good thing for everyone to know.

There's a lot of things I don't care to hear about on PPT, thus I don't click on the topic.

And as for being hit in painful places, once I was poked with a fencing foil somewhere rather sensitive.

I think it's fine for children to know the facts. Anyway, I think we started learning this stuff when we were 8. Come to think of it, we were really quite alright with it. There wasn't anything to not be okay with - we learned the truth and we were okay with the truth. Don't underestimate children, they're pretty mature about some things. :)

Back to the topic, I remember I was out of hospital from my appendix operation so I was feeling a bit in pain still. I was standing next to my chair in the form room, packing my bag, get rammed into, tummy crashes - ouchie.
