I have three, thugh they aren't livestrongs really.. They are same company, but they just have nike on them. One in blue, black, and light carolina blue. I dislike livestrongs, but LOVE the non-livestrong ones.

Actually, they're not the same at all. Livestrong's are for Lance Armstrong's cancer foundation, the nike ones are purely for the shoe company's profit.

I had one and I used it to shoot at my boyfriend and it broke and I was sad.

What
are they?

They are wrist bands that you can buy in support of cancer research. They are part of Lance Armstrong's oganization to fight testicular cancer. The reason why they are yellow is tied with the winning shirt being the yellow shirt in the tour d'France. Right now they are really in style (at least up here) with teens and college students in part because many Olympic athletes were wearing them in Athens.

I love LiveStrongs. They are made for a good cause and they're fashionable these days (if you are into that kind of thing).
I pretty much like all of the wristbands in that style except for the Nike ones.

I don't wear them, however I know a lot of people who have like...5 of them =P And yes, they're the "trend" here too.

Are they EVER the trend here in Atlanta. I just don't like their color. Yellow...ugh. It has too many "Support our troops" connontations (sp?) for me. It would be cool if other organizations copped that idea but used different phrases and colors.
A lot of celebrities wear them (of course, they latch onto trends like ignorant little leeches), but John Kerry and Teresa Heinz Kerry wear them too which is kinda cool.
I would wear one if it said something like straight-edge (PM me if you don't know what that is because to explain that would be WAY off topic) and were black.

Wow, I thought they only sold those things here. A bunch of kids wear them (including the hot guys in my gym class *drooldaydream*). I want one because they're cool, but I don't have one.

I had one, until my friend from church made off with it. Ironic, no?

Moving this to Miscellaneous Discussion (wow, that's a first). ;D

I have a Livestrong
. Me and all my friends are OBSESSED. Most of them never take them off, but I take mine off to play with it in school when I'm bored

My friend wanted to buy one but they were sold out

They're so popular here, people have to buy them off others to get ones.
I personally don't have one, but I know quite a few people that do. I don't mind them. They've spawned a few lookalikes here; for instance, there are pink ones that were made to support a missing person around here.
