Let it snow...

Fri Nov 12, 2004 8:15 pm

Well, just got the first snow here and it is going fast! An inch already! Have you guys have snow yet or is it still to come?

Fri Nov 12, 2004 8:17 pm

Ours is still to come (Ontario, Canada). It's a little nippy though.

*bundles up*

Ew, snow.

...Apparently it doesn't snow here, though. Which I'll think is good for a while, until I really start wanting those snow days. =P

Fri Nov 12, 2004 8:20 pm

Already snowed here. No sticking, but it snowed none the less. :) Which is fine with me since I just put up my Christmas tree...

SNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWW!!! Hey, Jenna, you got room for one more? SC has been pretty cold lately, (it was about 46 degrees at 5 am this morning. Don't me how I know, it's a long story. All I know is I got close and personal and learnt all there is to know about the St. Francis health care system.) but not enough to snow. We're going down to freezing in a couple nights. :D

Fri Nov 12, 2004 8:32 pm

Yup. We've gotten a few dumps of snow already.
But it's melted, and now the fields are ice. *nods*
Should finally top off our water tables this year.

Fri Nov 12, 2004 8:46 pm

Nope. Just freezing cold.

And I had to stand outside in the freezing cold because the stupid BUS DIDN'T COME *grrr*

Fri Nov 12, 2004 8:48 pm

It's been snowing here as well. Ugh.

Fri Nov 12, 2004 8:48 pm

Well, it's raining right now...if it keeps raining, maybe I'll see a flurry or two.

Fri Nov 12, 2004 9:08 pm

One morning at about 3:30 I was awake, and I saw about a dozen snowflakes, which melted as soon as they hit the ground. So, yes, it has snowed.

Fri Nov 12, 2004 9:38 pm

Why yes, as I matter of fact, we did. And it stuck to the ground too (surprising, because I live in a desert. Not a very hot one, mind you, but it is still a desert.) In our yard it lasted... maybe half an hour? My siblings went out and played in it until it turned to water.

I think there is still some in a friends of ours yard... of course, in a very shady spot.

No snow here yet. I wish it would, though. Freshly fallen snow is so preeeetty. And romaaaantic. And if it snows we won't go outside for P.E. Whee.

Fri Nov 12, 2004 9:45 pm

It looks like it has stopped snowing here. Right now we have a little less than an inch I would say. First really good snow of the year I'm going to go outside my dorm and build a big snowwoman (I live in the female only dorm so we can't have a man outside :P ).

Well, it rained about .5" this morning and has been biting cold for the past week, so the meteorologists say that we'll be getting three inches of slush either tonight on later in the weekend.
