PPT DOCTORS - Something is wrong with me

Mon Nov 29, 2004 9:19 pm

Ok, today I have been spitting up Phelgm.
I have had Diarrhea.
My nose has been bleeded when I blow it.
My lip has been bleeding.
My eyes have been getting blurry.
Mind helping me here?

I have also had headaches and I feel like I want to faint when I stand up.
I'm gonna go take a bath I think.
I have been very thirsty and hungry more then usual also.

Do you have some kinda permenant virus :P

Heh, j/k.

I swear I have no idea what's wrong, but please, go to your real doctor - it could be something serious.

The only thing I could possibly give you advice on is the fainting problem.

Normally I feel faint if something happens and my heartbeat goes all quick und stuff, then it goes down v.fast, for example performing on a stage and then coming straight off.

It doesn't help if I haven't eaten or drank something energizing beforehand.

This could be why you feel like you need to eat/drink more.

Tea is a god for improving energy and concentration levels, I try to make sure I drink a mug in the morning.

Try to have something for breakfast, even if it's just a nibble of toast.

Also, water can sometimes help with headaches.

Oh yeah, and if you ever feel like you're going to faint, then tell the nearest person to you and take deep breaths. The moment you start to see black spots then you should get into the recovery position, unless you're unconcious.

(can you tell I've fainted before and have low blood pressure? :P)

You know, it's probably a better idea to ask a trained professional instead of coming to us. It this stuff happens to you this often, I think it's time to go see a real doctor.

I think it's Phlegm. If it isn't, I'm weird.

And please go and see a doctor. This is way too serious than to come to us and ask.

I'd have no idea, do what everyone else has said and see your doctor ASAP.

If I had to guess, probably a bad sinus infection, maybe even a migrane.

Yar, this sounds to me like something far more serious than what we can offer help with.

Also check to see if anyone else in your family has any symptoms similar to yours. Do that from the doctor's office, though - you should see a physician immediately.

The closest time I can get to see a doctor is Thursday.....
That is when I have to get my allergy shot.
Why does this allergy shot have to come late?
Today it has been exactly a month since I got my last allergy shot.
Could that have anything to do with it?

If your allergies are severe, maybe. I never heard of anyone that had allergies do that to them though.

No, allergy shots have nothing to do with it. Further, I've never heard of an allergic reaction leading to loose stool or to nosebleeds - have you taken any other medications recently?

At any rate, you should see a GP or an emergency room physician, not an allergist. Your combination symptoms are more in line with chemical or mold poisoning than an allergic reaction.

The doctor I get allergy shots from is our family doctor.
Not an allergist.
We are very close friends to our family doctor...
But our family doctor doesn't want us to go to his house if we have problems.

It is obvious to go see a doctor when the symptoms are that graphic.

Please don't post it next time.
