I'm glad at least one person could learn to whistle from that site with their fingers. I can get as far as that breathy almost whistle thing.


The way I whsitle with no fingers is different from the way that site says to whistle with no fingers.

Mostly I pucker my lips to whistle with no fingers not suck in my bottom lip.

Have you guys who can't whistle ever tried it the lip puckering way?

I can sometimes whistle without my fingers, but not very well. That site just confused me...I didn't get the slightest sound trying to whistle with my fingers.

...Actually, trying right now, I whistle a bit louder than I remember, though it may be echoing. I have to be able to, to some extent, it's the only thing that'll get my dad's dog to come to me. =P

After reading the site, I realise that I do not understand English at all, or I cannot follow instruction. Maybe he should put in some pictures.

I've never been able to whistle. Have been trying to do it since I was about 10, both by using my mouth only and also my fingers. Guess I'm one of those people who just can't whistle no matter how hard I try. When I whistle I just make this stupid blowing sound.

Yarr...that site didn't help me at all. Too bad, those whistles sound wicked. I can't whistle except with a blade of grass.

Lady Night, when I try to whistle I do it with puckered lips as well, I'm just really bad at it.

I tried this I can barely get a whistle...I don't think my hands are shaped right for hand whistling.

I want to learn how to whistle so badly, but I just can't do it. (That or snap my fingers.) I've been trying ever since I was a kid, and I've gotten nowhere.

Why do I want to learn how to whistle so bad? So I can walk down the hallway and whistle that song from Kill Bill Elle Driver whistles. Heh, heh, heh. Only reason.

i can't whistle at all. I did try that websites advice and learned 2 things from it. 1) Don't whistle with gum in your mouth. 2) You can launch a piece of gum pretty far if you try to whistle while chewing it.
