You should wait for it to grow a few more inches, and ask your hairstylist to cut it short so you won't have to deal with you being bald

Get it into a ponytail and chop it off (not all of it :P). Donate it to Locks of Love. Don't shave it all off. O_O

The hair for Locks of Love goes to making wigs for cancer patients, mainly kids getting chemotherapy. I believe that the ponytail needs to be at least 10" long. There are many hair salons who will cut the hair for free if they know that it is going to this organization. Which means you get your short hair styled and the hair you donate goes to a worthy cause. A win/win situation.

Oh, just to add: You can't do this for Locks of Love if your hair's been bleached. I know someone who wanted to do that with hers, but it's been bleached so she found out she couldn't. It's also on their rules on their site. Bah. I really wish I could donate my hair, but it's been bleached once or twice. =(

I had dreads and I shaved those off ^_^ raised 1500 bucks !

But narh I wouldn't recommend it, if your going to try and raise money for cancer patients do something else.. like go around selling cookies at raised prices!

Dress up all cutesy like and sell cookies to old ladies, you can make loadsa money for charity.

plus bald hair feels weird

I'm thinking of doing something like that, considering that a lot of people think my hair color is a rare color or very beautiful. (deep red-ish aubern type red) I think my hair may be long enough, just now what to do with it.

Ok.
I have to ask.
Did you read what I said about the horse Ahote Inrun on the site... or did you... know it from something else... because if it wasn't from this site... i'm absolutely floored. Just totally floored.

I didn't read it from this site, I'm thinking I read it in one of my moms old horse magazines. Not quite sure. Indian horse, right?

Head shave is tomorrow and I'm not getting it done. Didn't give myself enough time to think it out. Maybe next year. Thanks for your thoughts guys:)

My hair was down to my shoulders, and I shaved it.
Three months later My hair was that long again. And this time I shaved it in front of my school. I've made about 2000$ for cancer.
It's worth it.
And think about it this way, if you do shavem you can grow a creepy mohawk!

None of the wh00t crap? ... Even though Inrun mentioned 'wh00t'? Let me restate it. Theres no wrong way to spell wh00t. Woot. WOOt or any other alternative spelling.

It's just slang, I mean, it doesn't even merit an entry in dictionaries, so like, what the hey, it doesn't matter how its spelt.
