Moisquitos? ARGH! They're everywhere here because summer has been rather rainy so far. I can't even avoid them by locking myself in my room, those stupid things get in my room, they don't let me sleep. I've been getting 4-5 hours of sleep for the last week or so when I'm used to twice as much. But I've got a flyswatter in my room now and it works wonders. Better than a pillow anyway.

If I get bitten by one, it doesn't really hurt, I don't need to scratch it. Besides, I've gotten pretty good at killing and avoiding them. We do, however keep a constant supply of Afterbite.
I avoid them by always moving while outside, side to side like. That way they don't get to land. I'm also very good at spotting them when they're in my room and watching where they are at all times.

Evil little things.

kill them all at the source is my motto.

Bad idea lest an animal drink from it.

There are certain soap-based mosquito repellents out there that can be added to a fish pond and not harm the fish or animals drinking from the pond. But, they are specifically formulated to kill the mosquitoes while not harming anything else.
