Can you cook?

I can make really basic stuff, like noodles, cookies, muffins, bread etc. I'm extremely careful about the recipes so they always turn out as they're supposed to, so I guess they're good. I'd rather eat cookies I baked myself than store-bought ones. Once I learn how to cook something (heh I almost typed "someone". watch out guys) I prefer my own to someone else's version.

I can cook very well. I'm particularly good at deserts eg:
Puddings
Cheesecakes
Mousses
Biscuits
Meringues
Slices
Tarts.

I prefer to cook by my own vision... altering recipes as I see fit and such. It's fun.

Im a total disaster in the kitchen. After 23 years you would think i could make toast without burning it.... but nooooo!!
I have spent the past 3 days in bed after getting some bug, but im more than sure it was my cooking again.
I do try. Have only set the kitchen on fire twice. And my kids are getting used to burnt food at long last ;)

To a degree. I'd love to learn, though. Now I can only do simple stuff (eggs, pasta, rice) and I have to be semi-supervised (just to see that I got it started, being 14 and all).
