Well It is said that wood smoke makes people have Deja Vu the most because the smell of smoke is something that hasn't changed in...forever..

I love the smell of smoke sometimes. Especially when it is that kind of smokey smell you get from a fire when you roast marshmallows and weenies.

i dunno if anyone else has said this because im just popping in because my computer is being unwise at the moment.. but i think reincarnation is real, how do you think we have Deja Vu? its a memory from our past lifes except instead of it being our old body its replaced with our current one becuase thats what the brain knows best because its been in you for the last however long and out of whatever you where for however long...

O_O I don't believe that. Your brain gets formed when you're an embryo...

Well anyways, when I have Deja Vu, I always get the feeling that it's from a dream that I've had. And anyways, the environment and everything would be too different if we had past lives. (i.e. Cell phones, clothes, etc.)
but a little bit of the memory is stored in the muscles and such so that triggers the memory...

That makes no sense.. if reincarnation was true, and we totally started over, how would the memories stay?

Memories are stored as electrical impulses and elementary Physics tells us that Energy and matter cannot be destroyed (mind, it can be converted into another form)
that would probably be your best bet as far as Reincarnation goes.
not actually being the other person, but having their memories.

Memories aren't stored as electrical impulses. By definition, those are PULSES. Electrical impulses are what cause you to move your hands to type nonsense. Scientists aren't entirely sure how memories are stored, but in all likelihood they are formed by the creation of synaptic connections in the brain. NOT a little ball of science-energy that simply radiates 'my first kiss' energy all over the chuffing place and can't be destroyed.

Therefore unless your memories were somehow 'imprinted' onto your DNA (and it seems highly unlikely that the physical movement of neurons in the brain would change your gametes) there is no way a specific memory could be carried on.

blah blah, impulses pulses, close enough considering.

Thrankly, i cant be bothered beyond that, ive better things to do than argue about Thringe physics (which by definition are beyond our ken to understand the same way another person does) and the Knights templar.

Does anybody wonder about death as much as I do? I think about death every day. I'm forever thinking about dead people. Sounds creepy but it's true. I just want to know what death feels like. Sometimes it scares me but sometimes it really does intrigue me.

Wow, that is the EXACT same thing I feel. I think about death about everyday. Some times, I even think about what it would be like to just die, and see where you go, then come back to life afterwards. And I thought I was the only one...

Medli, the thought of God as you believe in him makes no sense to some people, so just let him believe what he wants. Please let it go before this gets locked. He can have an opinion.
