Aww, mazil, never had pumpkin pie? It's one of the greatest things ever (I think). PM if you want a recipe, those I've been making for years. Yes I do sometimes "cheat" and just buy one and to tell you the truth, there's certain places where there's either no difference or theirs is better than mine.

Hehe, yeah. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving in Australia, unfortunately... and I've never seen a pumpkin pie in any stores around here. I didn't even realise it was a sweet dish until my workmate informed me this morning!! I always thought it was a savoury one... hehehe

Speaking of Australians and pumpkin pie. Another Australian PPTer and I had a conversation about it while I was trying to come up with ideas for what the characters in the story I was writing should eat for dinner:

Me: Should there be a third vegetable
Me: And if so, what?
Alex: Pumpkin.
Me: Pumpkin?!
Alex: Well you have roasted potatoes
Alex: Why not roasted pumpkin?
Me: Because we only eat that in pie!
