Maybe, but a shot in the dark thats atleast in the right direction of the target.

Antimatter is contained in a strong magnetic field.

So, basically, the theory behind antimatter power is that you create a strong magnetic field in order to store fuel to create a stronger magnetic field.

This is starting to make me think a Simpsons line:

Incredible! I'm all excited now! I think it's possible, too, you know. There's so much stuff about the law of physics that we don't yet know about and if the universe was created and all that, then it's got to be possible.

Or we annihilate the universe in a massive wave of unreality the moment we open a dimensional portal.

Makes total sence to me.

Picture a cone of cheese. You want to dig your way from one end to the other. Instead of digging right through, you could 'jump' up near the top of the cone, dig that short distance, and jump back down. In the same way, as long as we accually live in a 4d hypercone, jumping dimentions would not only be uber cool but a great way to travle quickly.
