Ok, I was just scanning The Vole Pit (AKA Fanfiction.net) for Eowyn fics. And you know what? I found more with a Grima/Eowyn shipping than of any other type! That scares me. I discovered a while back that people who ship Wormtongue/Eowyn are called Snake-And-Sworders. I think it's really sick. For crying out loud... I do hope some of those are jokes. I know the Eowyn/Gollum one was, but these- I'm not too sure. Most of them follow the exact same, disgusting theme.

On the plus side, I found a really excellent fanfic which followed mostly bookverse with a few movie bits, which is now my #1 Eowyn Fanfic.

I'm trying to come up with something witty to say, but thinking of Wormtongue and Eowyn sharing a tender moment just sort of freaks me out. I can't even imagine him making cereal, much less doing mommy-and-daddy things.

But, and no offense here, what did you expect? Almost every good story of the last 2000 years has memorable characters of both sexes, and the parts that are left out are very often the parts that a lot of people wonder about (although the specific characters involved vary). Simple fact is, a lot of people who are willing to share their "art" are simply gutterminds of the "What-if?" variety. I can't even find mechwarrior fanfiction that doesn't involve large amounts of text that contributes precisely zero to the plot. But, c'est la vie, I suppose. It makes finding decent plots and writing combined into one fic that much more rewarding.

Well, after I saw the Pigwidgeon/Dumbledore ship, I really should've expected this.
But it's really scary. REALLY scary.

Ah. Yes. At least they no longer have the NC-17 rating there. Those stories were truly disturbing. The pairs in some of those.......

Now THAT is scary. O_o I like fanfiction.net in general, there are some really good stories collected in there.

Hmm, dunno what to say about the ship you were talking about, as I'm not really into Lord of the Rings...(Wait...that is Lord of the Rings, right?)

Yes that's LOTR XP The one I'm talking about would be Depressed Rohan Lady and Traitorous Stalker Slime Man.

(In the movies, Eowyn's the one who's always standing in the wind, and Wormtongue's the one who convinces Theoden of all sorts of things and stalks Eowyn, if that helps.)
