no lol, the "good driver-bad driver" thing is determined from how many accidents people get into.
None of these are really arguable lol, they are ALL based on statistics, not assupmtion or sexism :P

You've obviously never taken a class on Statistics. Stats are all about inference; you can never claim something to be absolutely certain. Not to mention, there's always the godly rule of correlation =/= causation. Just because men have more DUIs doesn't mean that's why they get in more accidents. Frankly, the population that gets DUIs is a small percentage of the driving population. Alcohol is one of many factors in the total number of car crashes.

That being said, I'm pretty sure the reason driving at 2 AM is unsafe is because of the bar crowd AND because of the dark. It's surprising that it's safer to drive at 8 AM, because that's during rush hour. I would think the safest time to drive would be at like 2 PM.

lol i have, actually :P
One in high school, one in college. Passed both with an A :D

8 am is the safest time to drive? What, did they gather the statistics from a rural country town? Every city I've been in, 8 am is in the period of rush hour.

And the whole thing about women driving better than men, it is pretty much analyzing accidents and the amount of tickets given out. In fact, when I was in elementary school I did a science project where I figured out percentages of genders (and some other things) of people who stopped or did not stop at a local stop sign, and the women did more full stops than the men, who usually either ran the stop sign or did a California stop/Texan delight, where you slow down but don't actually stop (and keep in mind this was a neighborhood street intersecting with a relatively busy thoroughfare).

But if you think about it, at 8 am, all of the cars on the expressway are going 10 miles an hour because they are in bumper to bumper traffic. So, you are probably less like to have an accident while driving at 10 mph than at 55-80 mph. At most, you would bump into the bumper of the car ahead of you and not cause any damage. Plus, you just woke up and, hopefully, didn't have too much stress in that time period, so you are more alert and perhaps less aggressive than you would be at 5 pm, after a long hard day at the office.

Actually, bikes arent bad, they just suffer more accidents.
That is to say, nobody has enough sense to SEE THEM and so tend to hit them a lot.

Having grown up with a biker, related to about a dozen of them, and been on bikes myself I know this.

If nobody had sense to see them, then every biker on the road would be dead and there would be no bikers. However there are bikers that also don't play by the rules of the road, and who in turn danger themselves. It's a two way street after all.

There are also Car drivers who seem to have a deathwish and have cut my dad up while he's in a lorry.
Ofcourse, said drivers also cut him up while he's on a bike, but I fail to see your point.

Note: Those little yobs on Mopeds aren't counted here.

My point was simply that there are both bad and good drivers, and bad and good motorcyclists. Simple point really.
