When I was 3, I was stung by a bee in my ear, it hurt. If it gets really bad, see a doctor.

I was last stung by a wasp about 9 years ago, it hurt a bit i guess. When I was at primary school I'd put apple on my hands and encourage wasps to land on them. Great for scaring girls, but I was never stung.

I dug up a bumblebee nest the other day and we basically apologised to one another and got on with our jobs, and a bees nest after that. We were fine with each other.

I dunno. I guess some people are just prone to getting stung. People who just sit down without looking for example. You are the sort of people who swig down water without tasting it in your mouth for a second. You are the sort of people who fall victim to the saltwater in a bottle prank.

stinging insects and I usually have an agreement: I see them...and run the other direction.

but this one felt like making itself noticed. Sadly I didnt even see him...just got the nice sting to show for it. and I'm glad he didnt bring friends.

but the swelling is just down to 2 redish purple lumps now. the redness around the area is gone (it was huge) and it doesnt itch as much. Infact, it just feels like a skeeter bite now (one that you've had for a day or 2 and doesnt really itch anymore unless you provoke it).

but I still hate bugs.

Wasps seem to be attracted to me latley. My mom thinks it my scent they're attracted to lately, they like crawling on me for more then 5 minutes at a time. I'm allergic to both bee's and wasps. If a wasp gets into the vehicle my mom makes the allergic one (me) kill it.

I haven't been stung since I was a kid and I don't remember it though.

I got stung by a WASP, too. He was upset that I bumped into him and made him spill his latte. :(

ouch. I'm teriffied of wasps and bees.

When I was little thee was a wasp nest in our garden, apparently I was stung alot.

Also a few years back, a wasp stung me on my foot. (It was in my shoes, I didn't notice and stung me as I went to put my foot in the shoe).

>_>

I agree with what everyone else said. And ice pack was the only thing that meant I could actually walk afterwards.
