Glad this board is back up :) Now if only the usergroups could be created again. (hint)

So this past Friday I was resuming (resume-ing) with my friend and I dropped off maybe 10 resumes and within 45 minutes of dropping off at one location I received a phone call from the owner, wanting me in for an interview and a trial shift.

So that was Friday, I aced it with flying colours and today I found out my schedule, I'll be working at least about 25 hours a week at 7.15 an hour. Pretty good for my first official job (over the counter stuff not included)

It's at a gourmet chocolate shop, the Nutty Chocolatier and I get a 50% off discount on all store items. It's a pretty sweet deal.

</end brag>

Haha! Did anyone else notice the (probably) unintended pun?

Anyway, congrats and have fun! It must be interesting to work at a chololate shop, and you get cheap gormet chocolate! I bet you'll have fun with that. It seems as though you'll get pretty good wages too.

One of the student teachers at my school had a job at a chocolate shop and broght my class huge chocolate bars. It was pretty cool.

I could never work in a chocolate store, I'd end up eating half the store within one shift, I would be unable to stop myself. :oops:

Wow, you have a job. *is in awe*

It's not legal here to have an official job until 16 (which is next year for me so I'm seriously enjoying my last free year). That chocolate job sounds great though. Chocolate!

Now if only it were See's or something...

Here, you can have a job when you're fourteen. But you can't work more than a few hours a week and if your grades start to slip, the school system takes away that right.

Anyway, congrats on the job!!! I would kill to work a chocolate shop.

Urgh....one job I would NEVER do again! I used to work in a choccies shop but the smell drove me mad! I used to come home feeling sick to the stomach, it's put me off choclate for life! Mind you I'm not that keen on the sickly sweet stuff myself :)

I hope you enjoy it though! If you love the smell of chocolate you will enjoy it!
