Wish me luck, because it's gonna be dark, and I'm gonna be drowsy. I need to shake this driving curse. My nerves are shot. I just gotta remember, pay attention and use my turn signals...

Trust me, the hardest part is dealing with the nervousness before and during the test. You'll do fine.

Good luck.
I passed on the first go round. Have you taken it before?
They're not so bad. The people who go with you really aren't normally out to get you!

Good Luck! :D

In 3 years I can take my driving test.

Just relax and you'll do fine.

Definetely. I failed my last driving test, and though my nervousness did not really cause it, it certainly did not help. I believe that my second upcoming driving test will be more successful, and I'll pass, because I won't be as nervous, learned from my mistakes, and, ugh... won't have to use a car other than that I've been practicing with for months.

Here's some advice in case you need it:

> even if the pedestrian stops, don't go. They might be evil and go just as you decide to turn. :x

> merge to the closest lane to you after looking to the around, and don't stop if it's green.
Note: I don't think I stopped on a green, but I guess I just wasn't paying attention because of, uh... nervousness?

> no sudden stops. Never! That's a big no-no.

But I guess it's too late, since your post was about an hour ago.

Anyways, I hope for you the best of circumstance. :)

Yes, but it was a while ago, and I didn't care about driving, so I failed. Now, I care. If I don't make any real fatal mistakes, I think I can do it. I might even be able to pull off parallel parking.

Oy. I wish I could still parallel park... it's been two years since I've done it, and I've completely forgotten how.

Good luck!

Yeah, my mom told me that in 40 years of driving, she's never had to parallel park once! So it's not the most useful skill, but I need all the help I can get.

It's not a useful skill but it helps you learn how to control your vehicle. Which is why they really still make you do it. To see that you have good control.

I don't think I was ever made to do that with my instructor before getting my permit. I would have done a lot of practice with it with my mom on the passenger seat had I known it would be part of the driving test.

 Good luck, Chromey!

I can't go for mine for another year and a half, though I've got my Learner's Permit at the moment.

Be really, really nice to the person giving you the test. A genuine smile does wonders.

I PASSED!!!!! O happiness, joy, and delight, the curse has been LIFTED!!! Thanks for all your well-wishes!

I made a few mistakes, but I was driving in a lousy car with the speedometer light burnt out (!). And I was solid nerves. But what's it matter? I passed!
