Just wanted to see how much time PPTers spent in front of their television sets. ;) I don't watch TV anymore; in fact I spend virtually 0 minutes 0 hours watching TV each week. This is due to restrictive boarding school rules.

I bet you'll find that we spend practically no time watching TV; but what we lack in TV time we more than make up for in computer time.

(That semicolon looks really pretentious.)

I myself watch about one hour a day, five days a week. (I watch Whose Line Is It Anyway.) During football season I watch more.

Not much. I have to watch my Hollyoaks 'cause I'm sad. I also watch "Look Around You" which is an insanely funny "Tomorrows World" parody.

Couple of hours a night maximum. There is not ever really much on television and I don't religiously watch any television shows so I don't have much incentive to watch television. Some nights I never watch any television though.

I voted 1 - 2 hours per day. I watch my soap operas on a night time and then Doctor Who on a Saturday.

Almost never... or actually, when I'm here in Belgium I don't watch it all. Back at home I have my own TV and watch it way more :P

About 1-3 hours a week... occasionally more. I'm not a real big TV watcher.

Hm. 2-3 hours a day, depending on what's on.

I spend about four hours a week. Which is just enough for me.

Ok.
A lot.
If i'm home... the TV is almost always on.
So... a lot.
Why?
Background noise. I can't concentrate in silence... can't work in silence. I need something else... especially if i'm doing art. I get into a zen mode and just zone out and work to the sound of TV. *shrug*

Yep, same here. I find that silence is distracting.
I watch TV at least an hour or two a day. It usually depends on the day of the week, though.
