Over 12 and i do it myself. It isn't rocket science u just plop your clothes in the washer push all the button add your stuff. Voila done part a. Then you take the clothes out of the washer and put into dryer push some more buttons and finished the process. Quite fun!

I'm 17 and I do my own laundry and everyone else in the house(for EIGHT people). Everyone in my house is spoiled when it comes to doing the laundry. Espcially, my dad and brother.

I'm 20 and I do my own laundry. I can't even remember when I didn't do my own laundry. Probably part of growing up as a divorced kid with a mom working two jobs.

Ditto. Surprisingly, I'm also restricted from the kitchen for that very same reason.

I think my mom is the same way. I used to ask her to let me help do these things when I was little and interested in it but no...

I'm at the age now where I should be doing the laundry and not screw things up but she still does all the laundry including my dad's...been doing it for years. Course now she has 5 kids...that's a lot of clothes. Maybe it's easier for her to just do everyone's darks and lights at once rather then us doing it individually and fighting over the machine. As long as it ends up in the hamper and not on the bedroom floor...and we give her fair warning if we need something done in the near future...she doesn't seem to really mind.

It's the folding that takes forever. :P Usually one of us helps with the folding.

I do laundry and cook for everyone when she specifically asks me to because she won't be home that evening, which is rare.

I am seriously bothered by my dependency sometimes...she knows that. But apparently she didn't do her laundry (folding the clothes is another story) or cook until she was rooming in college....then after a year she came home again and went back to having laundry done for her.

Guess it's one of those "push the bird out of the nest and see if it will fly" sort of deals. But I feel confident that despite my dependency now, I'll be alright in the future simply because I am bothered by it.

I'll do it sometimes, but not always. It's not really that hard to do. I just don't iron anything, and the machines do the rest!

I'm 21, and I do it my own, it's not that hard, though.

I never did my laundry until I went to college. It sucks, but I get used to it. It would not be so bad, but I have to go outside to do it. Since the laundry room has its own place in the apartment complex that I live in.
